Growing up on the Sunshine Coast in Eastbourne with Portuguese, South African, and English roots, I was raised on a beautiful mix of cultures, one that gave me an instinctive love of sunshine, late-night dinners, and the belief that life is always better shared with good people around the table.
By day, I work for a charity running an education programme, carrying forward my years as a teacher to spread positive messages with young people. It's work that genuinely fills my cup. Outside of that, you'll find me belting it out with my gospel choir or with my headphones in blasting tunes whilst weightlifting at the gym.
Travel, for me, has always been about people and place in equal measure. Having explored 26 countries, I've learned that the real magic lives just off the beaten track, in the family-run restaurants nobody else knows about, the neighbourhoods that don't make the guidebooks, and the conversations that change how you see the world.
I am a firm believer that life rewards those who say yes. Every opportunity is a potential story, every moment a memory in the making, and I intend to make as many as possible, with as many wonderful people as I can find along the way!
