Born and raise in the country side of the north of France, receiving guests was always a multiple day affair.
Having to assist my family from very young age, I learned to great a whole experience from service, to kitchen, to cleaning the house before and after their stay, I grew to become a fan of the Hotel life.
This led me at 17 to move to the Netherlands to study hospitality management.
Having work in the Hospitality industry for over a decade I really understood that even though the hotel itself is important, it is the experience that the people really value.
I try to apply that knowledge to my life on the daily basis; Going out to the restaurant instead of ordering, Going out to the movies instead of streaming, reading instead of scrolling, shooting on film instead of with my phone.
Eventually, I realised that most of the time taking the long way round is more satisfying than the shortcut!
Life is not a race, enjoy the trip!
