Let's explore the north of Fuerteventura then jump straight to Lanzarote!

We’ll kick off the morning exploring two gems in northern Fuerteventura. First up: Popcorn Beach, the quirky, Insta-famous spot where the white coral pebbles really do look like popcorn—camera at the ready! After snapping a few shots, we’ll make our way to El Cotillo, a laid-back fishing village known for its fresh seafood and chilled beach vibes. Perfect for a dip in the ocean, a bit of sun, or even trying out your first surf session.

Lunch is served with an Atlantic view—good food, sea breeze, and total holiday mode. After we’ve soaked up the sun, it’s time to head back to Corralejo and make our way to the port: Lanzarote, here we come!

We’ll hop on the ferry and sail to the wildest of the Canary Islands. Once we land, we’ll settle into our apartments in Puerto del Carmen, freshen up with a quick shower, and head out for dinner—tapas-style, of course. Tonight, it’s all about seafood, laughs, and that unbeatable island vibe.

The wild soul of Lanzarote, where lava flows touch the ocean

Welcome to Lanzarote, the wildest and most otherworldly of the Canaries. After a solid breakfast (fuel up—you're going to need it), we’re off to explore Timanfaya National Park, the island’s legendary volcanic reserve. Here, the ground still hisses with heat, and you'll see firsthand just how alive this island really is, geologically speaking.

Next, we’re heading up—literally. A short, scenic trek takes us to the Caldera Blanca, a now dormant volcanic crater that offers one of the best views on the island. It’s an easy climb, but the reward is huge: panoramic ocean views in every direction and the surreal sensation of standing in the heart of a volcano. It’s Lanzarote like you’ve never seen it—raw, wild, and unforgettable.

Relaxing afternoon between cellars and natural pools

After soaking in the epic views from the highest point on the island, it’s time for a quick bite—then we’re off to La Geria, Lanzarote’s most iconic winery. Here, we’ll taste wines made from vines that grow directly in volcanic soil—yep, lava-grown grapes are a thing, and they’re delicious.

To top off the day, we’re diving into the wild side of island life with a swim in the stunning natural pools of Los Charcones—crystal-clear, totally unspoiled, and pure Canarian magic.

Then it’s back to Puerto del Carmen to freshen up and head out for the evening. The seafront’s packed with bars, restaurants, and little shops—perfect for wandering, eating, and raising a glass to another amazing day.

Included: Car rental and Timanfaya National Park tour

La Graciosa Island in JEEP 4X4!

We start the day with a solid breakfast—you're going to need the energy, because it's a big one! Backpacks in the car, we hit the road and head north. First stop: Órzola, where we hop on a ferry to a little slice of paradise just off the coast—La Graciosa.

This wild, unspoiled island may be tiny (and yes, the name literally means “the graceful one”), but it packs a punch. We’ll explore it by 4x4 Jeep, cruising past volcanic cones and stopping off at hidden coves with insanely clear, turquoise water.

Today’s vibe? Swimsuit, comfy shoes, and zero plans—just dive into as many coves as you can and soak up the freedom. This is off-the-grid island life, WeRoad style.

The underground lava tubes of Lanzarote!

After a tasty fish lunch back in Órzola, it’s time to head underground and see what Lanzarote’s been hiding beneath the surface. First stop: Cueva de los Verdes. Ever been inside a lava tube? Now’s your chance.

These massive tunnels were carved out thousands of years ago by lava flows from the Monte Corona eruption. Inside, we’ll walk through an otherworldly landscape of twisting passages, glistening stalactites and stalagmites, and crystal-clear underground lakes so still they reflect like mirrors. It’s a surreal mix of raw geology and natural beauty—guaranteed to leave you speechless.

Included: Car rental and entrance fees to Cuevas de Los Verdes

Common Fund: Fuel, Jeep Tour of La Graciosa

Not included: Meals and drinks

We say goodbye to Lanzarote, now it's Fuerte's turn!

We wake up in Playa del Carmen, check out, and hit the road one last time in Lanzarote—heading to Playa Blanca to catch the ferry back to Fuerteventura. Once we land, it’s all about beaches, sea, and full-on chill mode.

We’ll spend the rest of the day exploring the stunning coastline of Costa Calma—think Playa Escalera, Playa Cofete, and Playa Sotavento. Golden sands, wild waves, and that blissful nothing-to-do feeling. Just don’t forget your swimsuit and sunscreen—this one’s all about soaking it in.

We’ll wrap up the day with an ice-cold beer in hand, watching the sunset paint the sky—then head back to Corralejo, where the night comes alive. Bars, music, and one last taste of that Canarian energy.

After a day of relaxation, let's learn to surf!

Ever dreamed of riding the waves of the Atlantic, surfboard under your feet and salty breeze in your hair?

Today, we dive into one of the most authentic experiences the island has to offer: surfing in Fuerteventura! We’ll be guided by expert Italian instructors who’ve been running a surf school in Corralejo for years. They’ll walk us through the basics, from paddling out to standing up and catching that first wave.

The surf lesson—included in your trip package—lasts two hours and comes with all the gear you need. No stress, just fun (and probably a few wipeouts too).

After working up an appetite, we’ll grab a well-earned post-surf lunch with an ocean view, then head to Playa del Moro, a gorgeous stretch of sand backed by the famous Corralejo dunes—golden waves of sand that’ll make you feel like you’ve been dropped into the Sahara (which, fun fact, isn’t actually that far away).

If the east coast gets too windy, no problem—we’ll switch it up and cruise over to the island’s west side to chill in the natural pools of Aguas Verdes. That’s the beauty of a road trip: total freedom to chase the best vibes.

Included: Car rental and Surf lesson including board rental, wetsuit, and surf instructors.

We leave the mainland, Los Lobos to the boarding!

We’re closing out our epic week the best way we know how—with the ocean all around us. Today, we set sail on a catamaran adventure to Los Lobos, a protected island and natural reserve bursting with biodiversity. Fun fact: its name comes from the sea lions (or “sea wolves” in Spanish—lobos) that once called it home!

We’ll cruise through crystal-clear waters, swim in hidden coves, and soak up the sunshine with music, good vibes, and a drink in hand. Keep your eyes peeled—we might spot some amazing marine life and seabirds while we’re at it.

After a salty, sun-soaked day in paradise, we’ll head back to Corralejo for a shower, a bit of chill time, and then… one last night out to toast to this unforgettable trip with the crew.

What better way to say goodbye (for now)?

Check-out and goodbyes

Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye... but we’re heading home with golden sand in our shoes and a little bit of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote tucked in our hearts (and maybe a sprinkle in our swimsuit pockets, too!).

Okay, maybe there’s a little island dust in my eye…

See you soon for the next unforgettable WeRoad adventure!
