Ciao! I’m Louisiana, a passionate MFL teacher who speaks Italian like a native (because I am one), and teaches French and Spanish with flair to equally sassy teens. I believe language opens doors, and sometimes hilarious grammar traps! When I’m not explaining the subjunctive or managing classroom antics, I’m hiking, reading investigative journalism, or sipping espresso while judging true crime documentaries like it’s my civic duty. Pizza is my love language, but let’s get one thing straight: pineapple is not an acceptable topping. I’m also a big fan of a good conspiracy theory as long as it doesn’t involve falling off the edge of the Earth. My favorite superhero is Batman because brooding in the shadows while saving the world with the latest technology just hits different. I share my home (and most of my Zoom calls) with a cat named after a Jane Austen character, Mr Darcy, who has more attitude than I do before my first coffee.
