Are flights included?
Flights are not included, except for any flights that are part of the itinerary itself. We keep flights separate to give you more flexibility: you can choose the departure airport, travel dates, airline, schedule, and budget that work best for you. This also makes it easier to arrive earlier, stay longer, or add extra stops before or after your WeRoad trip.
Who leads the trip, and will there be local guides?
You’ll travel with one of our Group Leader, empathetic, community-minded travelers who are there to support the group, bring everyone together, and make the experience feel effortless. They’re your travel buddy, your on-trip companion, and at the same time a traveler just like you. And yes, you’ll also meet Local Guides along the way, experts who know the culture, stories, and hidden corners of each destination.
It’s the perfect mix: someone who’s with you + someone who’s from there.
Who will be in my group, and how does the age range work?
You’ll join a small group (typically 8 to 15 people) of travelers around your same age, usually between 25 and 39.
Most people join solo, so everyone starts on the same page: open, curious, and ready to meet new people.
Matching by age helps the vibe feel natural, comfortable, and easy from day one, which is why so many groups stay friends long after the trip ends.
Will I share a room with other travelers?
Yes. Our model is built around sharing, it’s a thread that runs through the entire trip. Room sharing is part of the experience and part of what makes the adventure feel more connected and communal.
It’s also one of the easiest ways to break the ice and feel at home with your group right from the start.
That said, we know some travelers may prefer a bit more privacy. On certain itineraries, we offer single-room options; when available, they’re clearly listed on the trip page.
And if you’re booking for two people, the private-room option automatically drops to $0. Just add it to your booking!
