Travel Updates
On this page, you will find updates on WeRoad trips to destinations affected by extraordinary circumstances, such as natural events, conflicts, or other events that may impact travel. Our goal is to keep the community informed and transparently share how we are monitoring the situation and the decisions we are making regarding the impacted trips.
08/04/2026 - Middle East Situation Update
At WeRoad, we are deeply saddened by the situation in the Middle East, which goes against our core values of respect and sharing, as well as by the suffering of all the people directly and indirectly involved in the conflict.
During this time, we are dedicated to assisting WeRoaders who are in the affected areas, those travelling to or through the impacted zones, or those who were due to return. We are continuously monitoring the situation through local authorities, the home countries of our WeRoaders, airline guidelines, and support from our local partners. The safety of our WeRoaders is our top priority. Therefore, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following measures have been implemented:
No trips are planned to Israel or Iran.
All our trips to the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait are cancelled for departures between now and up to April 30, 2026. All WeRoaders departing for these destinations have already been or will be contacted in the coming days by our dedicated team with alternative solutions, such as a trip change or a 100% trip voucher.
All trips to other destinations worldwide remain confirmed: exclusively in the event that a WeRoader’s flight is cancelled because it includes a stopover in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat (or other impacted areas) or has Jordan as its destination, and:
the airline does not offer re-protection on an alternative flight to reach the destination within 48 hours from the start of the trip;
no alternative flight solutions with other airlines are available;
our team is available at booking@weroad.com to find an alternative solution. It will be necessary to attach the airline’s communication regarding the flight cancellation.
If your flight includes a stopover in affected areas but is still confirmed, we recommend waiting for the situation to evolve.
We continue to monitor the situation and, if further restrictions arise, we will contact the affected WeRoaders directly and update this page (we hope to archive it very soon).
