Stretching between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Panama is a country of striking contrasts—where lush rainforests meet bustling cities, and pristine islands hide vibrant cultures waiting to be discovered. Nestled next to Costa Rica, Panama is a treasure trove of natural beauty and rich wildlife—and it’s much more than just the world-famous Panama Canal. Authentic and still largely undiscovered by mass tourism, Panama is home to paradisiacal islands and indigenous communities whose cultures are alive and thriving.
This itinerary captures both sides of Panama: we’ll explore the stunning San Blas and Bocas del Toro archipelagos, while also immersing ourselves in the traditions of its indigenous peoples. In Panama City, a dynamic mix of colonial charm and modern skyscrapers awaits, followed by an escape to San Blas, where deserted islands evoke the spirit of Robinson Crusoe. Along the way, you’ll meet the Embera tribe and witness the engineering marvel of the Panama Canal.
