The trip in a nutshell
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure across two nations brimming with life, culture, and passion. In just 9 days, we’ll journey through Argentina and Brazil - from the lively streets of Buenos Aires, with its historic quarters and soulful tango nights, to the awe-inspiring Iguazú Falls, finishing in the vibrant heart of Rio de Janeiro, the “marvellous city.”
Our journey begins in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, where we’ll wander through charming districts such as Palermo and San Telmo, soaking up the city’s authentic atmosphere. And in the evening? A magical night at a milonga, dancing tango among the locals as the music sweeps us away.
The thundering Iguazú Falls will leave us speechless with their sheer power and beauty. We’ll explore both the Argentine and Brazilian sides, admiring the cascades from different perspectives.
From there, we cross into Brazil, where Rio de Janeiro will dazzle us with its energy: from the iconic Christ the Redeemer watching over the city, to Sugarloaf Mountain, the Sambadrome, and the golden sands of Ipanema and Copacabana. We’ll discover the bohemian spirit of Santa Teresa, with its colourful houses and winding lanes, and step into the Rocinha favela for a deeper look at another side of the city.
After a trip like this, we’ll return home knowing we’ve been truly captivated by South America - and we’ll already be dreaming of coming back!
