Helloooooo, I’m Laura.
I’m based mainly in Belfast but spend a bit of time in Brighton too, depending on where the wind (or work) takes me. When I’m not off exploring somewhere new, I’m usually deep in the planning phase or daydreaming about the next adventure. Travel is a big part of how I make sense of the world—and how I stay inspired.
I’ve somehow collected more hobbies than I can keep track of, but right now handstands are winning. I love anything active and outdoors, especially hiking and movement that makes you feel a little more connected to your body and surroundings. I’m also a photographer, and one of my favourite things to do—at home or away—is get up early for a sunrise photowalk.
I love the kind of structured fun that turns strangers into teammates—ask me about Best Game Ever :)
For me, travel isn’t just about ticking places off a list—it’s about getting to know people, cultures, and perspectives that challenge or expand my own. I love swapping stories, learning something new from someone unexpected, and sharing those moments that remind you how big and beautiful the world really is.
My last big adventure was 4.5 months in India — a place I miss a lot and hope to get back to soon. Some other countries at the top of the list are Japan, Albania, Mongolia, Hawaii and Kazakhstan. I also want to learn how to surf..
Always curious, always planning the next trip :)
