Hey guys! I’m Lika, and if you’re wondering “wait… what kind of name is that?”, trust me, you’re definitely not the first. I’m half Ukrainian and half Georgian, born in Russia, raised in Ukraine, moved to a small town near Ravenna before landing in Rome. So yeah, multiculturalism has pretty much been part of my DNA from day one. Maybe that’s why I love travelling so much… who knows? I’ve always loved a life on the move, which has taken me across a big part of Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America. There are still so many places on my list, and I really hope I’ll get to explore some of them with you! One thing my friends always say about me is that I can make friends with literally anyone. No surprise then that my life motto is good vibes only. One thing’s for sure: when I travel, I’m the happiest version of myself, and I honestly can’t wait to bring you into that energy. I love road trips and adventure travel, especially when they involve connecting with local communities and those authentic moments that add a little extra magic to the experience. For years I travelled solo with nothing but a backpack, staying in hostels and couchsurfing at strangers’ homes, and through that I discovered just how beautiful human connection can be. Because, when you think about it, isn’t that kind of what life is all about? A group of strangers by the sea or on top of a mountain, sharing joy, struggles, and stories as if they’d known each other forever.
