Itinerary - Cappadocia Collection

Merhaba , welcome to Turkey! Our journey begins in Kayseri with check-in at the hotel. Just enough time to settle in and it's time for our first dinner together: who wants to try the most famous ravioli in the area, namely manti ?

Today we begin to immerse ourselves in the local culture: we find ourselves in an ancient Roman city , rich in history thanks to all the populations and cultures that have passed through these parts. So let's take a walk in the citadel of Kayseri, visit the city's great mosque and, why not, go hunting for spices and local foods among the bazaars . There is no better way than immersing yourself in a local market to really understand how the local people really live: we immediately look for some street food to try, and we already stock up on spices and other local products - place in the backpack we will definitely find it!

In the afternoon we leave for the undisputed destination of our trip: Cappadocia! We make ourselves comfortable and enjoy the transfer, remembering to take a look, from time to time, at the landscape outside the window, which we will see change kilometer after kilometre.

We arrived at our hotel last night and had a great night's sleep, so we're pumped for today! This morning we set off to discover the secrets of Cappadocia, and we start from the underground city of Kaymakli . This incredible village is entirely dug below ground level and winds through labyrinthine tunnels, narrow passages and large spaces. The underground city is located on 8 different levels and today, with our local guide, we will be able to visit the most accessible ones.

Just enough time for a lunch and we continue our journey towards the Göreme valley , which owes its fame to the "fairy chimneys". This is certainly the most evocative and photographed place in all of Cappadocia, so we enjoy it and wait until sunset to see the colors of this place explode in a thousand shades.

The day is not finished though: we are going to enjoy an entirely local dinner: our dishes will be based on hummus, kebab, sarba and other delicacies!

The alarm clocks are set very early this morning: we get up before the sun rises to live a unique experience. We board a hot air balloon and start to gain altitude: seeing the sunrise from here, with the Göreme valley majestically blending into the horizon, will be a sight we won't easily forget. Let's enjoy these moments and forget about the chaos of everyday life: the peace and quiet that you can breathe from up here will give us unforgettable moments.

We don't move much this afternoon: we visit the Göreme valley - this time the perspective will be from below but it is still a unique experience! We stay, again, until sunset, so today we close the circle! Just enough time to return to the hotel and we prepare for our last dinner together.
