What are Backpack trips?
A crowded bus. A morning market. A family-run guesthouse. Backpack trips take you inside a country, not over it. You’ll sleep in hostels, travel by local transport, and eat where the locals eat. You don’t need to be an adventurer: you need curiosity. The group takes care of the rest.

What are Backpack trips?
Backpack on your shoulders, an adaptable mindset, and a real desire to truly discover a destination.
Backpack trips are designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in a country, step away from the usual tourist routes, and experience authentic moments that stay with you.
You give up some comforts, but it’s a conscious choice: during these trips you stay in hostels or guesthouses, travel on local transport, and eat where local people eat. It’s exactly in these moments - a crowded bus, a morning market, a family-run guesthouse - that the journey truly becomes yours.
You don’t need to be a hardcore adventurer; you just need curiosity and an open mind. You discover the destination through direct contact with its reality, not through the filter of a five-star hotel or a private transfer. The group of peers you travel with becomes an essential part of the experience: you face everything together, and that creates a different kind of bond. If, for you, traveling means truly stepping out of your comfort zone, a Backpack trip is the right travel style.
How does WeRoad work?
Choose your trip based on departure dates, destinations, and travel mood, and... book it! Once you get the email confirming your trip, book your round-trip flights to the destination – nope, they're not included in the package, we like flexibility! 15 days before departure, the Group Leader will create a WhatsApp group so you can start getting to know your future travel buddies. You're all set: enjoy your WeRoad trip! You'll share incredible experiences, discover local culture, and live every minute to the fullest – you'll probably shed a tear or two when it's time to say goodbye, but that's totally normal! Is the flight included?
Flights are not included, we love flexibility! This way you have the total freedom to choose which airport to depart from, which airline to fly with, how many stops to make, and, if you wish, to stay a few extra days at your destination. Obviously, we can help you choose them (here for flight purchase support) and what’s more, we have many discounts you can use with some of the major airlines.
Are there any age limits?
Yep, we have age limits. We organise groups split into different age groups. It won't be hard to find the perfect WeRoad for you!
What kind of deals can I find on WeRoad?

How to choose your first WeRoad trip?
Our advice is to start by asking yourself questions like: What's my budget? How long do I want to be away and when can I go? What am I in the mood for? Beach, nature, adventure, food, everything! And guess what, these are the filters you can set in all the search sections on our site.
By answering these questions, you'll have already narrowed down your choices and finding the perfect trip will be easier. What else can you consider at this point?
