Get ready for an epic adventure as we invite you to join us on an incredible road trip through the captivating landscapes of Norway! Our journey kicks off in the Lofoten archipelago, a hidden treasure beyond the Arctic Circle at the extraordinary 68th parallel.

Discover the awe-inspiring beauty of Norway, where jagged mountain peaks cast their reflections in the calm waters of the Gulf Stream. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of traditional cod fishing, a cornerstone of local life. The charming Rorbuer, fisherman's houses painted in vibrant red, create a striking contrast against the natural surroundings.

Arriving in Tromso

Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!

Once you arrive and check in at the hotel, we'll have a welcome meeting to get everyone acquainted. This will be a chance to meet your fellow travellers and get excited for all the adventures ahead!

We're in the far north of Europe, and there's something truly magical about arriving here. We'll spend our first evening exploring the area and taking in the enchanting landscapes of Norway. Get ready to be transported into a fairytale-like world that will leave you in awe!

Målselvfossen waterfall

Today marks the start of our exciting journey to explore the stunning Lofoten Islands. The archipelago is connected by a road that runs through tunnels and viaducts, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. We'll grab our rental cars and head south to begin our adventure.

Along the way, we'll be treated to breathtaking views and we'll have the freedom to choose where we want to stop. One stop that's definitely worth it is the Målselvfossen waterfalls - a perfect opportunity to stretch our legs and admire the scenery.

And why not pay a visit to the Polar Park? It's the northernmost park in the world and is nestled in the boreal taiga. Here, we'll get to see Norway's top predators, such as wolves, bears, lynxes, and foxes, as well as their prey, like reindeer, deer, moose, and musk ox. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

Harstad

After this stop we set off again towards our final destination: Harstad. The beauty of our adventure in the Norwegian lands lies precisely in the road trip, which gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the landscapes of these lands.

We spend the evening in the city, perhaps in a small place where we can taste some soup - definitely one of the best dishes around here!

The fishing villages

Our road trip adventure in Norway continues as we make our way south towards the stunning landscapes of Lofoten. The beauty of this journey lies in the road itself, as we get to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery.

With three full days to spend in this magical place, we have plenty of time to explore all that it has to offer. Let's decide together on what we can't miss. For instance, we can head to Å - which happens to be one of the countries with the shortest names in the world - and check out the stockfish museum. After all, cod fishing is a traditional activity in this region.

But if we're more interested in natural landscapes, there are plenty of options to choose from. For the photographers among us, Nusfjord, Sakrisoy, Hamnoy, Skagsanden, and Storvatnet are all great spots to capture stunning views of the islands. We'll have plenty of opportunities to explore and appreciate the enchanting beauty of these lands!

Trekking time

Good morning, Lofoten! Are we all feeling energized and ready for an adventure? Great! There are several treks in the area that we can choose from, such as the popular Reinebringen or Festvågtind hikes. However, we should be aware that these treks can be quite challenging and take a long time to reach the panoramic points. But it's all worth it because the breathtaking scenery is truly unforgettable.

Let's decide together which alternatives we like the most and make the most of these days. We have plenty of options to choose from, so whether we want to go for a hike, explore charming fishing villages, or simply relax and take in the stunning views, there's something for everyone. Let's make the most of our time here in this magical place!

Svolvær

Today, we'll take a scenic drive along the E30 road and head towards Svolvær, which is the largest town in the Lofoten archipelago with a population of 5,000 people. As we arrive, we'll be welcomed by a bustling atmosphere filled with boats of all colours and sizes along the coast. If we're foodies, we'll be delighted to know that there are plenty of local cuisine restaurants, craft breweries, and distilleries in this lively town. Let's explore and indulge in all that Svolvær has to offer!

In search of eagles!

This morning we will explore the Lofoten Islands from Svolvaer by sea, not only to enjoy the incredible landscapes but also to try to spot sea eagles  - and maybe get lucky and see some other marine animals too! With our dinghy we will travel through the fjords with our noses in the air, sharpening our eyesight: an experience that is hard to forget.

The Northern Fjords

Later today we bid farewell to the stunning Lofoten Islands and head towards the northern fjords. Though the journey may be long, the breathtaking scenery and the never-ending summer days will keep us company.

The main highlights of the area include the wild and rugged beauty of nature, the rocky coastlines adorned with charming fishing villages and magnificent beaches.

We can choose to rent kayaks or stand-up paddleboards and explore the surroundings from a unique perspective. Alternatively, for those who prefer to stretch their legs, there are numerous nature trails and hikes to discover the awe-inspiring landscape. The possibilities are endless, and the tranquil atmosphere of the area is sure to enchant you.

Breathtaking views

Today we'll take it slow and enjoy exploring the peninsula at our own pace. How about taking a stroll to appreciate the stunning natural beauty around us?

Later, we'll make our way to Tromsø where the city centre boasts the largest concentration of old wooden houses in the area, with the oldest one dating back to 1789! If the city doesn't pique our interest, we can head back to nature and hike up the mountain overlooking the city. We have two options: take the cable car and enjoy the view, or hike up the mountain for about two hours. Want to make everyone happy? Take the cable car up and hike down! Either way, we'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view at the top.

The road trip through the Lofoten was incredibly beautiful. The trip was super organized, and in the short time (one week), we really saw a lot and had the opportunity to do other things alone or with a few people from the group, in addition to excursions with the entire group. Except for one hotel, the accommodations were really good. I had a wonderful vacation and would travel with Weroad again anytime.Janina Salome S.18/10/2025
My first experience travelling with a group and it was amazing! From the people to the organisation of activities and accommodation. It was an excellent experience! The guide played a key role in making us feel comfortable and relaxed within the group, even before the trip began, starting with the chat. I think a very relaxed and comfortable connection was established between everyone in a very natural way. It was a very dynamic and concise group. I couldn't have asked for better travelling companions and experiences.Sofia Isabel Lopes T.01/10/2025
It's so hard to put into words how amazing this Norway trip was. Our guide, Samantha, was brilliant, funny and so friendly with everyone. Our group was also amazing, 6 people in total and we had the most incredible trip in the Lofoten with some sauna, artic swims, night games (shuffleboard and bowling), hiking, kayaking trought the Fjords, exploring the wilderness and the wildlife, such as wales, eagles, reindeers, mooses, among so many others. The group was small and I really believe this was crucial and ultimately, one of the main reasons why we got to know each others so well! I wasn't expecting to be so happy and satisfied with this trip as I am.Jorge Filipe Simões M.01/10/2025
