Weekend Walk — City & Castlefield

Saturday afternoon, Manchester, nothing on? Come for a walk. 👋

Two hours through the city, starting on Princess Street at the edge of Chinatown, down to the canals at Castlefield, back up along Deansgate past Spinningfields and finishing in the Northern Quarter. 4–5 km, easy pace, plenty of time to talk. 🌳

The Northern Quarter is full of places to sit down — anyone who fancies it stays on for a coffee. ☕

👟 Comfortable shoes are all you need. We walk in drizzle and call it off in proper rain.

Most people come on their own and don't know anyone beforehand — that's rather the point. Nothing to bring, nothing to prepare, nobody to know. Just turning up is enough. 🙂

💬 There's no host at this event — what there is instead is the event chat. Do say hello there beforehand, it makes finding each other on the day much easier.
