Itinerary

Menorca is a charming Balearic island, a Mediterranean gem renowned for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, pristine nature, and captivating historic towns. Hidden coves, breathtakingly colorful bays, and vast stretches of sand where we can relax and soak up the sun. Cala Macarella, Cala en Turqueta, Son Bou, and Cala Mitjana are just a few of the most famous beaches that will win us over with their turquoise waters and idyllic landscapes. But Menorca isn't just about the sea. Its historic towns will enchant you with their cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and traditional architecture. We'll explore the streets of Ciutadella, the ancient capital, and Mahón, the current capital. Here, we can dive into one of their many lively spots for a night out. We'll then visit the S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park, offering stunning landscapes, lagoons, hiking trails, and a wide variety of birds and other animal species. And let's not forget Menorca's caves, like the Cova d'en Xoroi, full of underground corridors and stalactites, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. We'll savor the delicious local cuisine, with dishes based on fresh fish, tapas, and island specialties like sobrassada (a typical cured sausage) and pomada (a gin and lemonade-based drink). In conclusion, a trip to Menorca is an unforgettable experience that will gift us crystal-clear seas, enchanting beaches, pristine nature, and a rich history and culture. So get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of this unique island.

Check-in at the hotel in Menorca and welcome meeting. Let's start settling in, perhaps by trying some local dishes like "caldereta de langosta," a lobster soup, maybe with a nice glass of white wine.

Saint Thomas, sea and relaxation

Our second day in Menorca is all about the sea and chilling out. We kick things off with a visit to San Tomás, a peaceful and enchanting beach with crystal-clear waters that look like a painting. Here, we can soak up the sun, take a dip, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the place, far from the crowds.

After soaking in the beauty of this little cove, we head over to Son Bou, one of the longest beaches on the island, with super fine sand and turquoise waters that invite us for an immediate dive.

Once we've recharged, we'll stop for a sunset aperitivo at one of the beach bars, where we can sip a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the breathtaking view. A perfect day to completely unwind and experience Menorca in all its natural splendor.

Cala Macarella, Cala Macarelleta and Cala Turqueta

Today, we're off to explore more breathtaking beaches, including Cala Macarella, Macarelleta, and Cala Turqueta. We'll kick off the day heading to Cala Macarella, one of Menorca's most iconic bays. Here, the turquoise sea and fine sand invite us for a refreshing dip, while the wild, unspoiled landscape offers a sense of total relaxation. Then, we'll reach Cala Macarelleta, smaller and quieter, a true oasis of peace, where we can lay out our towels and enjoy a hidden corner of the island.

In the afternoon, we'll continue to Cala Turqueta, another of Menorca's gems, with crystal-clear waters that blend into a thousand shades of blue. Here, we'll stop for a stroll along the shore and, before we leave, perhaps we'll treat ourselves to a sunset aperitivo at one of the scenic spots offering a spectacular sea view. Another day of pure relaxation, between turquoise waters and unforgettable landscapes.

Cova d'en Xoroi

Special sunset? We're heading to Cova d'en Xoroi, a unique spot, a natural cave opening directly onto the sea, where sunset becomes an unforgettable experience. Sipping our cocktail here as the sky turns orange and the sea reflects in the crystal-clear waters. Music starts playing, and the cave comes alive with a special vibe, featuring DJ sets and a party atmosphere. The view of the sea as the sun sets is simply breathtaking, creating a perfect contrast between nature and fun. The evening thus transforms into a mix of relaxation and energy, an experience that will stay with you.

Parco Naturale di s'Albufera des Grau

Let's dive into the natural heart of Menorca, the Parc Natural de s'Albufera des Grau. We'll kick off the day with a visit to Es Grau, a charming little village. Here, we can stroll along the coast and spot the abundant local wildlife. The scenery is just lovely, with the water blending into the lush green surroundings. Fancy it? We can even grab a kayak and explore the hidden coves in the area. After soaking up some chill vibes in this tranquil spot, we'll refuel with some fresh fish at one of Es Grau's typical eateries.

The afternoon is all about discovering the nature reserve, where every corner unveils new wonders. A day immersed in untouched nature, offering a chance to see Menorca from a different, even more captivating perspective.

Boat trip

Today we're treating ourselves to a relaxing boat trip to discover the island's stunning coastlines and crystal-clear waters. We'll uncover numerous secluded coves and hidden beaches, tricky to reach by land. Who can resist a dip in these turquoise waters?

Last dips in the crystal-clear waters of Minorca

We dedicate this last day to exploring the stunning beaches of northwestern Menorca, where wild nature reigns supreme. We kick off the day with a visit to Cavalleria Beach, one of the island's most captivating spots, boasting golden sand and crystal-clear waters framed by high, reddish cliffs. The beach is relatively secluded, making it perfect for a day of total relaxation, far from the crowds. After spending some time here, we head to Cala Pregonda, one of the most charming and lesser-known coves. Reaching it involves a scenic walk along rocky paths, but once we arrive, the view of the cove leaves us breathless. The transparent waters, surrounded by intense red rocks, create a magical and almost surreal atmosphere. We stop for a refreshing dip, then soak in the scenery while relaxing in the sun. Northwestern Menorca, with its remote beaches and pristine sea, gifts us a day of pure natural beauty.

Time to say goodbye.

One last look at this earthly paradise, then we head back to the airport. See you on our next WeRoad adventure!
