Check-in: our adventure starts in Hanoi

Round-trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice! Please note: the trip starts in Hanoi and ends in Phuket (Thailand), so book your flights accordingly.

Ready to start this trip the best way possible? We’re talking about food, obviously. Tonight we’ll have our first dinner together, and we’ll get the chance to have a first taste of the local cuisine - maybe some pho, how does that sound?

Two people walk through terraced rice paddies on rolling hills as sun rays beam down from a cloudy sky at sunset.

Our adventure begins

We rise with the sun so we can start this adventure right: our minivan is ready to take us north. The drive will be pretty long (it’s 4 hours), so we should get comfortable and enjoy the ride - and the view! We finally arrive in Pu Luong: this hidden gem, nestled amidst dramatic mountains in northern Vietnam, is an adventurer's playground and a nature lover's dream.

But Pu Luong is more than just stunning scenery: lush rice terraces, cascading like emerald steps, will leave you breathless. Connect with the warm and welcoming residents, savour local delicacies, and learn about their rich culture. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting an ethereal glow over the landscape, you'll know you've discovered something truly special. Finally, we'll embark on our return journey, admiring the stunning landscapes of Vietnam once more.

Ha Long Bay

Calling all adventure seekers and beach bums! Get ready to set sail on a legendary 2-day, 1-night cruise through the awe-inspiring Ha Long Bay. We'll be cruising aboard a swanky boat, your haven for exploring hidden coves, kayaking through emerald waters, and indulging in fresh seafood feasts.

We'll pick you up bright and early from your Hanoi digs and embark on a scenic journey to Ha Long Bay. Buckle up for a 2.5-hour bus ride with a pit stop to stretch your legs – perfect for grabbing some snacks and fueling up for the epic adventure ahead.

Cruise, Kayak, and Conquer on Boat Adventure!

Once we reach the Tuan Chau International Marina, prepare to be wowed by your junk boat. As we cruise past the iconic limestone karst formations of Ha Long Bay, get ready to feast on a fresh, local seafood lunch. Sail by whimsical rock formations like "Dog Head" and "Swan," and marvel at the unique floating village of Ba Hang. As the sun dips below the horizon, grab a drink and watch the sky transform into a fiery masterpiece from the sundeck. After a delicious dinner, the bar is calling your name. Get ready for a night of stories, laughter, and soaking in the magical atmosphere

Sunrise in Ha Long and back to Hanoi

Today we suggest waking up early... the sunrise in Ha Long Bay is as magical as the sunset. Plus, we could have some time to practice some yoga and meditation on the deck! With the sun sparkling on the emerald water and the limestone karst formations rising majestically, it's the perfect way to start the day.

Before we disembark, we'll savour a delicious light lunch onboard. With a heart full of memories and a camera roll bursting with stunning photos, we'll board the bus for our return journey to Hanoi. Expect to be back at your hotel around 3:30 PM: in the afternoon, we can visit some pagodas, such as Tran Quoc, or ancient temples, like the Literature one that became the first National University of Vietnam. During our strolling, why not try some street food?

The big city of the south

Ready to dive into the heart of Vietnam? Let's take an early flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, the city that never sleeps! Once we land, we'll head to our accommodation and immediately immerse ourselves in the organized chaos of the streets. If we have time, we'll visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, two architectural icons that will transport us back to the French colonial era.

After lunch, we'll transform into true urban explorers with a guided scooter tour! We'll weave through the bustling streets, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. In the evening, it's time to have some fun: we'll venture into the Bui Vien district, a true paradise for young travellers. Here we'll find trendy bars, restaurants, and live music venues.

Ho Chi Minh City has something for everyone

Craving an adventure? Ho Chi Minh City has something for everyone. Imagine waking up in the heart of Vietnam's bustling metropolis, savoring a delicious local breakfast before diving into the vibrant Ben Thanh Market. From there, you could explore historical landmarks or simply wander the city's trendy streets. If relaxation is more your style, indulge in a pampering spa treatment or soak up the city views from a rooftop bar. But if you're feeling adventurous, why not embark on a full-day excursion to the Mekong Delta? Imagine cruising along serene canals, visiting floating markets, and biking through picturesque rice paddies. Whether you choose to immerse yourself in the city's vibrant culture or escape to the tranquility of the countryside, Ho Chi Minh City offers endless possibilities for an unforgettable adventure.

It's time to reflect on the resilience of the Cambodian people

We wake up at the crack of dawn and hop on a bus to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. After a scenic journey, prepare to be moved as we explore the dark chapters of Cambodia's history*. We'll visit the haunting Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, once a school turned into a prison during the Khmer Rouge regime. Later, we'll head to the chilling Choeung Ek Killing Fields, a mass grave site that serves as a stark reminder of the atrocities committed. This day will be a powerful and thought-provoking experience, but we'll also take time to reflect on the resilience of the Cambodian people.

On the road

Another early call: this morning, we hop on a bus to Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor temples. After checking into our accommodation, we'll have the afternoon to explore the vibrant local culture. Visit the bustling Old Market, where we can find everything from souvenirs to delicious street food. We'll immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Pub Street area, known for its lively bars and restaurants. In the evening, we'll enjoy a traditional Cambodian dinner and decide if we prefer Vietnamese or Cambodian food!

From the iconic Angkor Wat to the jungle-clad Ta Prohm

Let's embark on an unforgettable journey through time as we delve deep into the heart of the ancient Khmer Empire. Today, we'll explore the magnificent temples of Angkor, marvelling at their intricate carvings, towering structures, and mysterious history. From the iconic Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the jungle-clad Ta Prohm, where ancient ruins are entwined with towering trees, we'll discover the secrets of this lost civilization. Prepare to be amazed by the scale and complexity of these ancient wonders and feel a sense of awe as we walk in the footsteps of ancient kings and queens.

Trade your temple-exploring sandals for dancing shoes! Today we face a long bus ride from Siem Reap to Bangkok, filled with laughs, games, and plenty of opportunities to bond with your fellow travelers. Crossing the border will be a memorable experience, so make sure to have your passport ready. Once we arrive in Bangkok, we'll check into our hotel and hit the town! We'll explore the city's vibrant nightlife, from the bustling Khao San Road to the trendy rooftop bars. Let's make this trip one for the books!

Temples and much more

A city always has must-see places, which is why we'll take a morning walk through Bangkok's temples, starting with the Royal Palace and continuing to Wat Pho, featuring a giant golden reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun, located on the opposite side of the river, which we'll reach by taking a short boat ride. Known as the "Temple of Dawn", it has a serene atmosphere that instill a sense of peace. In the afternoon, we'll have some free time to do some shopping. Depending on the day, we may also visit local markets, which are great places to purchase local goods. In the evening, we'll return to our accommodation for a quick shower and prepare for our dinner together, savouring delicious Thai food.

Brilliant trip, very well organised and jam packed. The tour group was really great and so well guided by Dionysia. This was an excellent way to do something a little out of my comfort zone with a friendly group, helpful guide and amazing destination. I highly recommend you give it a go!Joseph Niall D.24/05/2026
I just got back from my trip to Indochina with WeRoad, and it was truly an amazing experience!! For me it was the right mix of exploring nature, getting to know the local cultures, trying delicious foods, and having fun. I was also very lucky in terms of the group and the coordinator. Everyone was very nice and we had a great time together. I know that some of the friends I made during the trip I will definitely meet again later (we're already planning our next trip together 😝). The planning by WeRoad was very good, also based on the experience of the groups that have done the same itinerary before. It was really the perfect trip. It was exactly the experience I was hoping for, and WeRoad takes care of everything in terms of the planning, so you don't have to worry about anything and can enjoy the trip (almost) care free 😄Giulia D.18/05/2026
It was amazing, a nonstop journey through 3 countries. I wish we had even more time to spend in all these countries but with this trip you will be able to explore and have some of the best highlights of each place. The trip is a non stop and constant moving from place to place and busy every step of the way. I really enjoyed and totally recommend it.Angel M.04/05/2026
