Born in South Korea and based in Italy, I’m a medical student with a slightly unconventional journey. Before medicine, I worked as a high-school science teacher and ocean science researcher, with experiences ranging from volcanology to marine plankton ecology and marine new drug discovery. Travel has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve visited more than 70 countries, taken over 200 flights, and lived in places including Shanghai, Hawaii, Istanbul, Romania, and Italy. These experiences taught me that the best part of travelling isn’t just seeing new places—it’s sharing unexpected moments with people you might never have met otherwise. I’m naturally curious, energetic, and always ready for an adventure, whether that means exploring a volcano, finding a hidden local restaurant, jumping into the sea, or simply getting a group of strangers laughing together. As a WeRoad Coordinator, I’d love to create trips where everyone feels included, has fun, and comes home with stories they’ll still be talking about years later.
