Weekend Walk & Christmas Market

Saturday afternoon, London, nothing on? Come for a walk — and the Christmas market afterwards. 👋

Two hours along the wintry Thames, starting on Roupell Street — one of the prettiest old terraces in Waterloo — then down to the river and east past Tate Modern and Borough Market. 4–5 km, easy pace, plenty of time to talk. 🌲

We finish at Winter by the River at London Bridge City, the riverside Christmas market between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Free to enter — anyone who fancies it stays on for a mulled wine. 🎄

👟 Comfortable shoes and a warm coat are all you need. We walk in drizzle and call it off in proper rain.

Most people come on their own and don’t know anyone beforehand — that’s rather the point. Nothing to bring, nothing to prepare, nobody to know. Just turning up is enough. 🙂
