Itinerary

Andalusia is often called the most beautiful region in all of Spain, and we couldn't agree more! This weekend, we'll explore the wildest and most authentic side of Andalusia, dedicating ourselves to the famous Caminito del Rey. It's a unique adventure that blends breathtaking nature, history, and adrenaline. Not far from Malaga, this incredible path, suspended along the gorges of the Guadalhorce River, promises unforgettable thrills. Once used as a passage for dam workers, the Caminito is now one of Europe's most famous hikes, thanks to its sheer trails and spectacular views that open up at every step.

After crossing vertiginous walkways and suspension bridges, we'll head back to Malaga, a vibrant city that mixes historical charm with modernity. Known as the birthplace of Picasso, it boasts numerous museums, like the Picasso Museum Malaga, and historical monuments, such as the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle. The city is also famous for its golden beaches, mild climate, and gastronomy, including tapas and olive oil. Ready to go? Vamos!

Europe's most thrilling trail

We’ve had our first taste of Andalusian culture, and today we’re continuing with a legendary route: the Caminito del Rey, one of the most dangerous trails in the world. The canyon is characterised by suspended walkways reaching heights of up to 100 meters. Once perilous, the path is now safe, but it remains a unique experience. The approximately 3-kilometre route offers breathtaking views of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a narrow, deep gorge carved by the Guadalhorce River, winding between sheer cliffs and spectacular rock formations. Walking on the suspended walkways, we’ll feel suspended in mid-air, with incredible panoramas opening up at every turn. Although it’s a safe experience today, the path retains that adventure vibe that made it famous, delivering a unique thrill with every step, direct contact with wild nature, and an unmissable glimpse of Andalusia’s natural wonders.

After the thrill, we head back to Málaga to enjoy a little more of the weekend and the city's traditions. We can decide to set sail on a catamaran for a few hours, discovering Málaga from a whole new perspective – or go and watch a Flamenco Show, it doesn't get more authentic than this! After a day packed with emotions, we'll enjoy one last dinner together and then hit the streets to soak up the city's nightlife one more time. Ready to let loose?

Last hours of relaxation

We kick off our last day together with a super traditional breakfast: Churros and Café con Leche! The perfect way to start with the right energy. Afterwards, we can choose: either relax on the beach – whether it's Malagueta, El Palo or La Caleta, among the most famous beaches in the area – or explore some of the city's most iconic spots: the Picasso Museum, as the artist was born right here in Málaga, the Roman Theatre and the Plaza de Toros, as well as other historic landmarks such as the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle. Our weekend wraps up at around 12:00, giving everyone the chance to head home on an afternoon flight – after an incredible weekend full of Iberian vibes!
