Bali & Gili: Tropical Vibes & Turquoise Tides

Itinerary
Welcome to paradise—Bali and the Gili Islands await!
Get ready for a journey that blends adventure, culture, nature, and beach life in one unforgettable tropical escape. From the moment we arrive, this itinerary invites us to dive headfirst into the soul of Indonesia, beginning in the vibrant coastal town of Seminyak before heading inland to explore the spiritual and scenic heart of Bali.
We’ll wander through UNESCO-listed rice terraces in Jatiluwih, sip coffee overlooking Lake Bratan, and visit the majestic Ulun Danu Temple. In Ubud, we’ll trek through jungle trails, chase waterfalls, go white-water rafting, and take part in a traditional purification ceremony at Tirta Empul. Then it’s time to slow down and embrace island life: first in the Gili Islands, where we’ll snorkel, hopefully alongside sea turtles, dance barefoot on the beach, and soak in dreamy sunsets. Afterward, we’ll explore Nusa Penida with its epic cliffs and crystal-clear waters, including the iconic Kelingking Beach.
Whether you’re floating in turquoise tides or meditating in the jungle, this adventure promises to reconnect you with nature, culture, and a like-minded crew of explorers. Pack your sarong, bring your best energy, and get ready for the island trip of a lifetime!

Welcome to Paradise: Our Adventure Begins in Seminyak
Welcome to Seminyak’s Sunset Vibes
Touch down in Bali’s trendiest beach town and let the tropical energy wash over you. After check-in and a warm welcome meeting, kick back with your toes in the sand as the sun dips below the horizon. Tonight, we dive into our first taste of Balinese cuisine and nightlife—get ready to toast new friends under swaying palms and tropical-colored skies.

Let's Get Stuck Into Our Adventure!
UNESCO Rice Terraces & Lakeside Temples
Rise early for a market stop in Tabanan, then wander through the emerald ribbons of Jatiluwih’s UNESCO rice fields. Recharge over lunch with sweeping green views, then sip locally roasted Luwak coffee on the shores of Lake Bratan. As the afternoon glow surrounds Ulun Danu Temple, you’ll feel the island’s spiritual pulse.

A Secret Waterfall & Jungle Vibes
Cascades & Ubud Bliss
Set out on a forest trail to discover a hidden waterfall and plunge into its cool, clear pool. After a ritual group photo, we journey to Ubud for an afternoon of pure relaxation—choose a yoga class, Balinese massage, or simply lounge poolside with a fresh coconut, soaking in Ubud’s serene jungle vibes.

Rapids & Rituals: Jungle Rafting Meets Temple Purification
River Rapids & Sacred Purification
Today’s adrenaline rush comes courtesy of the Ayung River: tackle Class II rapids against a backdrop of vine-draped trees and thundering falls, then refuel with a hearty riverside lunch. In the afternoon, we'll don our sarongs for a cleansing rite at Tirta Empul—immerse ourselves in sacred spring waters and emerge refreshed, body and soul.

Monkeys Become Friends and onto Gili Paradise
Monkey Mischief & Island Escape
Start the day among cheeky long-tailed residents in the Sacred Monkey Forest—capture playful moments among ancient statues and temple ruins. By midday, hop a ferry to Gili Trawangan, where turquoise tides beckon. Unwind on a hammock, sip sunset cocktails on the beach, and dance barefoot to island beats.

Beach Bliss: Relaxation, Snorkeling & Diving
Turtle Trails & Underwater Wonders
Board a boat for a full day island-hop: snorkel amid coral gardens on Gili Meno and Gili Air, hopefully encounter gentle sea turtles, and marvel at the “Nest” underwater statues. In the afternoon, choose laid-back beach time or village exploration—this is your tropical playground.

Coastal Vibes & Nightlife: Gili to Seminyak & Canggu
Sunrise Swim & Seminyak Return
Enjoy a final morning dip in Gili’s crystalline waters or opt for a beachside massage. After lunch, ferry back to Bali and return to Seminyak. As evening falls, celebrate one last night of beach bar hopping, sharing sunset stories over tiki-style cocktails.

Nusa Penida: The Famous Dinosaur Beach
Cliffside Views & Manta Ray Magic
Depart early for Nusa Penida’s dramatic coastline. Snorkel with graceful manta rays in hidden bays, then feast on a local lunch before conquering Kelingking Beach’s legendary viewpoint. Capture the iconic T-rex cliffs against the bluest sea—proof you’ve ventured to the edge of paradise.
Enjoy our final evening all together hopping between beach bars and enjoy a final sunset together. Who knows where the night will take us!

Goodbye Indonesia!
Farewell Waves & Future Memories
Depending on your flight time, savor a leisurely breakfast and one last seaside stroll. As you bid “see you again” to tropical tides and newfound friends, carry home a sun-kissed glow, unforgettable adventures, and stories you’ll share for years to come. Safe travels!

A great trip if you’re looking to explore Balinese culture, go snorkeling, and party! The itinerary is quite busy with lots of activities, but it becomes more relaxed in the last few days. For me, it was a great balance and a good introduction if it’s your first time in Bali

I think personally that we wrote and travel experience was phenomenal.\n Quick leader. If you like was fantastic, amazing organisational skills, everything was basically sorted out who has any issues. Maybe sorted out immediately. Did give the experience a 9 out of 10 not a 10 out of 10 purely? Because for myself, I'm from Scotland and I initially needed a lot of people were excited out in terms of visas, etc. The one in negative I would say, is, if you have persons you are coming on these trips. The UK are very solar countries. Please please please make them aware that they may or may not needs visas etcetera to travel to these countries well in advance. I found out that he needed a Visa 2 days before I left 3 days before I left and I was very lucky. It was a British citizen. That can get a Visa very, very quickly. Announce yet again through RM check coordinates her. I think the official title was. And the trip I was on was the Bali and Gilli. and Indonesia, it's absolutely phenomenal place, great food, great accommodation. I think that was one place slightly below a stand up, you know, yeah, it was sorted out immediately, but yeah. There's nothing else I can really say apart from. Please, please. Make sure people are very much aware of the people. Up the need and also make them aware of the price within I certain location of the money pop cause I did hear the fluctuates between different places, because if you're spending between 800 and see a couple of thousands honour experience a trip. These little costs are a huge factor that when whether or not, people actually attend these trips purely. Because we're not money back, you know, we're not, we don't have money that goes on trees. Hi Bixby it being completely open with all money. All visas, an annual or expenses. It may or may not need within a trip has to be made away straight away. And because for an example on my trip to valley and guiley, there was a number of people who yes, they had money. But yes, for myself, I was on a single trip, but it was a number of people who are on a multi trip. What are different locations are just bypodcast? And if they are on a budget, they'll get the price of the trip and go oh, that's fantastic, but they don't obviously Huff the a degree of knowledge on the extra cut, the extra costing announced a bit of a top put off, you know, but in terms of the trip is fantastic Quote travel coordinator which is phenomenal. She was just A breath of fresh air full enthusiasm, very professional. Also I think if you haven't a bad day sort of person, you can just turn on and speak to and say, I don't know if you're c*** with you and then, but yeah, you should beat, have your back and support yet for yourself and for and also cover the, you know, to keep the whole group together, which was phenomenal So in the future, will I be using we road travel. There's a small possibility that would be a yes , butt only if i'm aware of all the expenses and visas etcetera , so I can't get caught out because i'm the one it's getting in trouble , not the comp

Loved our trip to Bali led by our guide Megan. The group was really nice and we quickly became friends. Expect an adventure, not a 5* hotel instagram photo op.
