Itinerary

Welcome to India!
1 night: New Delhi
Check-in: we're off from New Delhi
The journey begins: we're heading to Udaipur
2 nights: Udaipur
We're diving deep into the real India
Early wake-up call this morning: we're up and ready to tackle our first day on Indian soil. We’ll leave Delhi—which we’ll see again at the end of the tour—and fly to Udaipur. We’ve got two days to explore the ancient White City of Rajasthan.
We’ll start with the City Palace, also known as the Palace of the Maharana—a proper labyrinth of halls, courtyards, and terraces with breathtaking lake views. Every corner here tells a story.
Our exploration continues at the Jagdish Temple, an imposing Hindu temple overflowing with intricate stone carvings: just look up and try not to be enchanted.
We’ll wrap up the day with a stroll through the Sahelion Ki Bari gardens, the famous “Garden of the Maidens”: a green oasis of fountains, pavilions, and flowers, created for the 48 handmaidens who accompanied the Maharana’s wife as a wedding gift.
Of course, we’ll also have time to enjoy our beautiful hotel: that’s exactly why we’re spending two days in Udaipur—this is the beauty of our Collection trips: a slower pace that lets us discover (and savor) the places we visit with much more calm.
Chhatra Sagar
1 night: Chhatra Sagar
An oasis of peace
After breakfast, we’ll leave Udaipur and hit the road towards Chhatra Sagar. Once we arrive and settle into our hotel, the day is all about total relaxation.
This place is an oasis of peace: you've got a free afternoon to soak up the surrounding nature, chill out with the hotel's activities, or treat yourself to some well-deserved pampering at the SPA. It’s the perfect time to slow down, unplug, and just let yourself be taken care of.
At sunset, a special experience awaits: a sunset aperitif, on the house. Drink in hand, breathtaking views in front of you... the perfect combo to wrap up the day in style.
If you're still craving a bit of adventure, you can try activities like birdwatching, kayaking on the lake, or visiting the local village. But the real highlight today? Taking it easy and soaking up the unique vibes of Chhatra Sagar.
Overnight at the hotel, with that feeling of being in the right place at the right time.
Off to Jaipur!
1 night: Jaipur
Discover the flavors of India!
Breakfast and off we go: this morning we're heading to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and the famous Pink City. The real highlight of the day arrives in the evening: a cooking demonstration class! We'll learn the secrets of Indian cuisine, surrounded by fragrant spices and recipes passed down for generations. It’s not just a demonstration: it’s an experience that engages all the senses.
And naturally, we’ll end the night by enjoying the dinner we’ve prepared, paired with beer, Indian wine, and soft drinks on the house. A mix of flavor and good company that makes this evening truly special.
Overnight in Jaipur, with the scent of masala and curry still lingering in the air.
Discovering the Pink City
1 night: Jaipur
Let's explore Jaipur
Today we wake up nice and slow, and after breakfast, we're diving straight into the magic of Jaipur. It’s going to be an intense but unforgettable day: keep your camera ready, because every corner here looks like a movie set!
We’ll start with Amber Fort, a fortress-palace overlooking the city: it might look austere from the outside, but inside it hides halls sparkling with mirrors, frescoes, and precious stones.
On the way back, we'll make a photo stop in front of the Hawa Mahal, the famous “Palace of the Winds”: a pink facade that looks like stone lace, built to let the court ladies watch life on the street without being seen.
Next up is the City Palace, which is still the royal family's residence today. We’re stepping into a real treasure chest here.
We’ll wrap things up with the Jantar Mantar, the world’s largest astronomical observatory, built in stone and marble.
The day ends with a stroll through the bustling streets of the old city, between whizzing tuk-tuks, colorful markets, and the scent of spices in the air. Jaipur is lively, noisy, and fascinating: it’s impossible not to fall in love with it.
From Jaipur to Agra
1 night: Agra
Finally, Agra!
After breakfast, we'll say goodbye to Jaipur and hit the road towards one of our most anticipated stops: Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal.
But first, we'll make a pit stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost town that feels frozen in time. It’s like a historical time capsule: red sandstone palaces, quiet courtyards, and architecture blending Persian and Indian influences. Then there's the silence—a lack of water turned it into an abandoned city, but one with incredible charm.
In the afternoon, we'll finally arrive in Agra, check into our hotel, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime to recharge our batteries for what's waiting for us tomorrow: the Taj Mahal at sunrise!
The Taj Mahal and the Red Fort of Agra
1 night: New Delhi
A dream come true: the Taj Mahal at dawn.
It’s still dark outside, but we’re already up and waiting: we’re standing before one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the majestic Taj Mahal, Agra’s true treasure. Visiting at this hour, with the sun rising on the horizon and a light mist settling over the white marble, is a moment we’ll never forget. Let’s soak up these moments and breathe in the magic of this surreal place of eternal beauty.
After the Taj, we head to the imposing 'Red Fort' in Agra, another must-see in the city, with its intricate architecture and impressive panoramic views, chambers filled with frescoes, gardens with golden pavilions, and a few cheeky monkeys passing by.
In the afternoon, we depart for Delhi: about a four-hour drive, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel and get ready to swap stories about the day’s adventures over a well-deserved dinner.
Delhi
1 night: New Delhi
Discovering Delhi
This morning we leave the hotel and dive straight into the beating heart of Delhi.
Our tour kicks off at Chandni Chowk, one of India's oldest and busiest markets. Between whizzing rickshaws, tiny shops, fragrant spices, and street food everywhere, we'll feel like we're in a live-action Bollywood movie. To really get into the mood, we'll hop on a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets: chaos, honking horns, smiles, and an energy that’s second to none.
From there, we'll head to the Jama Masjid, the Friday Mosque and the largest in India: imposing, elegant, and incredibly evocative.
We'll wrap things up with a meaningful stop: Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. It’s a simple but incredibly powerful place that tells the story of the person who led India toward independence with strength and non-violence.
After such an intense day of history, spirituality, and wonderful chaos, we’ll take the evening slow: an ultimate farewell dinner awaits us, so we can savor the final flavors of India and, most importantly, relive the best moments of our trip. We’ll say our goodbyes with our eyes full of images, our backpacks full of memories... and maybe even some spices hidden among our clothes!
See you later, India!
Time to head home!
Our trip to India has come to an end, and it's time to say our goodbyes. It’ll be hard to leave this magical land, but we’re sure we’ll see each other again very soon for new adventures!
