Once you get the email confirming your trip, book your round-trip flights to the destination – nope, they're not included in the package, we like flexibility! 15 days before departure, the Group Leader will create a WhatsApp group so you can start getting to know your future travel buddies. You're all set: enjoy your WeRoad trip! You'll share incredible experiences, discover local culture, and live every minute to the fullest – you'll probably shed a tear or two when it's time to say goodbye, but that's totally normal! Flights are not included, we love flexibility! This way you have the total freedom to choose which airport to depart from, which airline to fly with, how many stops to make, and, if you wish, to stay a few extra days at your destination. Obviously, we can help you choose them (here for flight purchase support) and what’s more, we have many discounts you can use with some of the major airlines.

Yep, we have age limits. We organise groups split into different age groups. It won't be hard to find the perfect WeRoad for you!

Our advice is to start by asking yourself questions like: What's my budget? How long do I want to be away and when can I go? What am I in the mood for? Beach, nature, adventure, food, everything! And guess what, these are the filters you can set in all the search sections on our site.

A Christmas market is an outdoor market held in the weeks before Christmas, with wooden stalls selling mulled wine, seasonal food and handmade gifts. The tradition began in Germany and Austria in the late Middle Ages — Dresden's Striezelmarkt, running since 1434, is the oldest still held today.

Germany and Austria are usually considered the heartland of the Christmas market tradition, with the highest concentration of well-known markets in cities like Nuremberg, Cologne and Vienna. France (Strasbourg and Colmar) and Czechia (Prague) come a close second for many travelers.

Most German markets open in the last week of November, timed to the start of Advent, and run until 23–24 December. Nuremberg's Christkindlesmarkt, one of the oldest and most famous, opens on 27 November 2026 and closes on 24 December 2026.
