We’ll explore Medellín and Comuna 13—once known as the heart of Pablo Escobar’s operations—and discover how it has transformed into a powerful symbol of a Colombia that’s moving forward.
We’ll visit a traditional coffee finca and uncover the secrets behind one of the country’s most iconic exports. From harvesting to production, all the way to tasting locally grown arabica, we’ll be guided through the plantations, learning how to spot the finest beans—then kick back with the locals over a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
Next, we’ll take in the colonial charm of Cartagena, wandering through its cobblestone streets and historic architecture.
We’ll wrap up the trip in style in the stunning Rosario Islands, with white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, to enjoy some well-deserved relaxing time!

Our adventure begins in the heart of authentic Colombia in Medellín, also known as the “City of Eternal Spring”! We’re ready to start our adventure with the right mood. Let’s use these first few hours on Colombian soil to get to know each other and immerse ourselves in the Latin rhythm of this new country, which we’re sure to fall in love with by the end of the trip… are you ready?!

From Medellín to the coffee plantations
1 night: Medellín
Discovering the secrets of a Coffee Plantation
Ready to dive even deeper into Colombian culture? Coffee is at the heart of Colombia’s economy and identity, so there’s no way we’re missing the chance to experience it firsthand. Today we’ll visit a traditional coffee finca and uncover the secrets behind one of the world’s most beloved drinks—from harvesting to production, all the way to tasting the rich local Arabica.
Our guide will take us through the plantations, showing us how to spot the perfect beans and explaining every step of the process. Then, we’ll slow things down and enjoy a well-deserved coffee break, sharing stories with locals over a freshly brewed cup.
Back to Medellín: Dinner & Night Vibes
In the afternoon, we head back to Medellín, arriving with enough time to relax, freshen up, and soak in the city vibes before heading out. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a delicious local dinner together—then dive into Medellín’s nightlife for a fun and unforgettable evening.

Discovering Medellín

Social Transformation Tour and Comuna 13
Today we explore the powerful history and evolution of Medellín through a Social Transformation Tour. We’ll visit iconic spots like Comuna 13, once known for its difficult past and now a symbol of rebirth and creativity, filled with street art, music, and local culture. This experience gives us a deeper understanding of the city’s past and present.
If time allows, we’ll enjoy a relaxed walk through the city, discovering its streets and hidden corners. Later, we return to the hotel to get ready before heading out for dinner together.

1 night: Medellín
Free Day in Medellín or discovering Guatapé & Piedra del Peñol ?
Today we can choose to enjoy Medellín at your own pace, exploring more neighborhoods, visiting museums, shopping, or simply relaxing and soaking in the city’s atmosphere.
Alternatively, we can join an unforgettable excursion to Guatapé & Piedra del Peñól. Guatapé is one of the most colorful towns in the world; it is famous for its vibrant “zócalos,” decorative bas-reliefs that tell the stories of local families and traditions. We head to the iconic El Peñón de Guatapé, also known as Piedra del Peñol, a massive granite monolith and national monument. The climb to the top involves quite a few steps, but the breathtaking panoramic view over the surrounding lakes is absolutely worth it.
We return in the afternoon, just in time to enjoy our last evening in Medellín with a proper farewell dinner and a final taste of the city’s incredible vibe.

Flight to Cartagena: welcome to the Caribbean Coast
1 night: Cartagena
Exploring Cartagena & sunset views
This morning we completely change scenery as we take a domestic flight to Cartagena, the jewel of Colombia’s Caribbean coast, known for its colorful streets, colonial walls, and turquoise sea. Here, the pace slows, inviting you to relax, explore history, and enjoy every moment.
We have the whole day to wander through the city’s colorful streets, rich with history and charm. You might shop for souvenirs, try a salsa class, or taste local specialties—Cartagena’s cuisine is among the best in the country. To top it all off, we’ll catch the sunset from Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, where the view is nothing short of spectacular.

Rosario Islands Adventure
1 night: Cartagena
Rosary Islands: finally beachlife and relax!
After days of cultural exploration, today is all about the sea. We head out on an excursion to the Rosario Islands, an archipelago of 27 coral islands in the Caribbean. Crystal-clear waters, white sand, and vibrant marine life create a true paradise setting. We’ll enjoy a boat trip, with the option to go snorkeling, explore coral reefs, or try water activities. Between swims and sunshine, we’ll also savor local dishes, perhaps paired with a tropical cocktail. It’s a day dedicated to pure relax and fun.
In the evening, we return to Cartagena just in time for our final dinner together, celebrating an unforgettable journey.

Goodbye Colombia

After breakfast, it’s time to check out and say our goodbyes. We leave with amazing memories, new friendships, and a piece of Colombia in our hearts. We're sure this is just the beginning, and we're already packing our backpacks for the next adventure!
