Itinerary

Get ready to discover one of Asia’s most dynamic and surprising destinations. Hong Kong is a city of striking contrasts, where towering skyscrapers rise above jungle covered peaks, and bustling street markets sit just moments from peaceful temples and hidden beaches. It is a place where East meets West in the most seamless way, blending Cantonese heritage, colonial history, and cutting edge modern life.

On this journey, we will explore both the iconic highlights and the city’s lesser known corners. From panoramic skyline views and neon lit streets to remote islands, traditional fishing villages, and wild coastal trails, this trip combines city energy, nature, culture, and unforgettable food.

We will hike above the skyline at sunset, wander through serene monasteries, and travel between islands by ferry, discovering a side of Hong Kong that many travellers never see. Along the way, expect bold flavours, vibrant neighbourhoods, and moments of calm hidden within the chaos.

Designed for curious travellers, this adventure offers the perfect balance of exploration and freedom, showcasing Hong Kong in all its diversity. Vibrant, unexpected, and completely unique.

Check in: Our Hong Kong adventure begins!

Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice.

Hong Kong welcomes us with its unmistakable energy. A glowing skyline, fast moving streets, and a rhythm that is impossible to ignore. After checking in, we meet in the evening and dive straight into the atmosphere of the city together.

As night falls, we head to a rooftop bar and watch the city light up beneath us for the very first time. This is where it all begins. Over dinner, we share stories, meet our travel companions, and set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Buddhist Gardens & hiking above the city

Today we step into the beating heart of Hong Kong. Neon lights, busy streets, and constant movement surround us as we explore Kowloon at its most vibrant.

Then, everything slows. At Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden, silence replaces the noise. Wooden temples, still ponds, and carefully shaped trees create a moment of calm within the chaos.

It is time to climb. We hike up Lion Rock, feeling the effort as the city slowly reveals itself beneath us. At the top, everything opens up. Skyscrapers, mountains, and the harbour stretching into the distance.

This evening, there’s the option to take things to the water with a traditional junk boat dinner, cruising across Victoria Harbour with incredible skyline views, great food, and drinks to match.

Sacred Peaks & Fishing Villages

We leave the skyscrapers behind and discover a quieter side of Hong Kong, one that feels slower, deeper, and rooted in tradition.

Suspended above mountains and sea, we glide towards the Tian Tan Buddha by cable car, watching the landscape shift beneath us. At the top, the atmosphere changes. Peaceful, spiritual, almost timeless.

Later, we explore Tai O, a fishing village built on stilts. Narrow walkways, water channels, and the scent of the sea guide us through a way of life that has remained unchanged for generations.

Streets and peaks of Hong Kong Island

Today we explore the layers of Hong Kong, where past and present exist side by side.

We move through Central, riding escalators through the city and weaving between skyscrapers and hidden corners. Along the way, we step into Man Mo Temple, where the scent of incense fills the air and time seems to slow beneath hanging coils and centuries-old traditions.

Later, we take the iconic tram up to Victoria Peak. From the top, the full scale of the city unfolds, the harbour, the skyline, and endless towers stretching into the distance.

Back down in the city, we pass through Tai Kwun, a former police station turned creative hub, before the evening shifts pace in Lan Kwai Fong. Here, the city comes alive with food, music, and atmosphere, rounding off the day in the heart of Hong Kong’s vibrant nightlife.

Sai Kung & Hidden Beaches

Today we leave the city behind and head to Sai Kung, a vibrant fishing village that feels like the gateway to another world. Colourful boats line the harbour, seafood restaurants spill into the streets, and the pace of life instantly begins to slow.

From here, the adventure opens up. We can venture out by boat into the UNESCO Global Geopark, where dramatic rock formations rise from the sea, shaped by time and tide. Or we head towards Ham Tin, a remote beach with soft sand and crystal clear water, perfect for swimming and switching off.

For those seeking more, there is the option to hike towards sharp peak, or towards natural pools where you can cool off in waterfalls hidden among giant rock formations.

By evening, we return to the city, relaxed and recharged, still amazed by the contrast between wild nature and urban life.

A scenic overlook with a green-roofed pavilion, viewing a bay filled with fish farms and surrounded by lush green mountains under a cloudy sky.

Island Trails & Ocean Air

A short ferry ride takes us away from the intensity of the city and into the laid back rhythm of Lamma Island. With no cars and a slower pace of life, it feels like a completely different side of Hong Kong.

We follow a harbour to harbour trail that winds across the island, linking small villages, beaches, and viewpoints along the way. The path opens up to wide coastal views, with plenty of opportunities to take a swim, take a break by the sea or settle into one of the islands relaxed restaurants or bars.

There's no rush here, just time to move, explore, and take it all in.

Later, we return by ferry as the skyline gradually reappears on the horizon. Back in the city, the evening continues at Temple Street Night Market, where neon lights, street food and local energy bring Hong Kong to life.

Your Hong Kong

Today is completely open, giving you the space to experience Hong Kong in your own way.

You might choose to explore more of the city’s culture, from contemporary art at M+ to the rich history of the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Or perhaps it is time for something different, a final hike above the skyline, another beach escape, or a deeper dive into the city’s food scene.

There is also the option to head further afield, whether that is a day trip to Macau - the Vegas of Asia, a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, or simply exploring neighbourhoods and hidden corners at your own pace.

Or you might do very little at all. Find a café, wander without a plan, and let the city reveal itself one last time before the journey comes to an end.
