Ibiza and Formentera Beach Life: Turquoise Coves & Sunset at Es Vedrà

Itinerary
Seven days of crystal-clear waters, dreamy beaches, breathtaking sunsets and the vibrant energy of Ibiza. We start with the most famous coves, like Cala Comte, where the setting sun paints the sea a thousand shades. But Ibiza isn't just about relaxing: we dance until dawn in the world's most famous clubs!
On nearby Formentera, a completely different island, we explore scenic roads, deserted beaches, picturesque villages and pristine nature. Evenings are for local cuisine, fresh seafood and traditional produce, and for wandering the narrow streets of the old town, with its medieval architecture and the secrets of this magical island.

Welcome to Ibiza!
Check-in: our adventure begins in San Antonio
Roundtrip flights or transportation to reach the destination are not included in the package, so you can decide from where and when you want to leave! This gives you complete freedom of choice to adjust your travel itinerary to your needs.
We touch down on Ibiza and the festive spirit greets us the moment we step out of the airport.
Hotel in San Antonio: after collecting our bags, we head straight to our hotel in the bustling heart of San Antonio.
First dinner together: as the sun begins to set, we get to know one another over local dishes and the first toasts of the trip.

Ibiza: from Cala Vadella to the magical sunset over Es Vedrá
Ibiza explorers: dreamy coves and unforgettable sunsets
Today we explore two of the island's most stunning coves. First stop: the rental cars, driving licences in hand!
Swim at Cala Vadella: a postcard-perfect bay of golden sand and crystal-clear water, where we dive in and then soak up the sun, cold beer in hand.
On to Cala d’Hort: in the afternoon we reach Cala d’Hort, tucked between dramatic cliffs, with the view of Es Vedrà as soon as we arrive.
Sunset over Es Vedrà: we find a panoramic viewpoint and watch the sun dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the mysterious islet.

The soul of Ibiza: Benirràs, between nature, music and relaxation
From the cave to the club: 24 hours as a true Ibizan
Today is a journey into the most authentic soul of Ibiza, from a cave to the dance floor.
Up for a cave? For those seeking adventure, a morning excursion into Can Marça Cave, once a smugglers' hideout, with rock formations lit by shifting light and the sound of the sea nearby.
Afternoon at Cala Benirràs: the afternoon is ours to enjoy, perhaps with a leisurely lunch at a beachfront chiringuito or a cocktail by the shore.
Drums at sunset: as the sun goes down, drums and tribal sounds fill the air in one of Ibiza's most iconic sunset rituals, with people dancing barefoot on the sand.
Night at the club: as night falls, we head to one of the island's most renowned clubs and dance until dawn.

Cala Comte Calling
A slow morning to recharge
After an unforgettable night out, today is all about slowing down: the morning is unplanned.
Morning at our own pace: some sleep in, others find a seaside café for coffee and a croissant, and a few of us relax by the pool.
To Cala Comte: late morning we head to Cala Comte, with golden sands, turquoise water and sweeping sea views.
Beach time: the day drifts by between swims and chats under the parasol; some of us enjoy a fresh mojito.
Relaxed dinner: at sunset we get together for a relaxed dinner.
We keep it early tonight: tomorrow it's Formentera!

Discovering Formentera
A dive into the heart of the Balearics
Today we set off for Formentera, the jewel of the Balearic Islands. Early start: the ferry is waiting!
Wild beaches and coves: we explore Formentera’s wild beaches and crystal-clear coves, with no rush, just sun, sea and salty air.
Stand-up paddle boarding: the highlight of the day is stand-up paddle boarding over transparent water, seeing the coastline from a new perspective.
Ses Illetes and Es Pujols: time to relax and swim on postcard-perfect beaches like Platja de Ses Illetes, then a coffee stop in Es Pujols.
Ferry back to Ibiza: we end the afternoon by the sea, and as evening falls the ferry carries us back to Ibiza.

Cala Salada and Saladeta: a hidden paradise
Hidden coves and historic charm
A quick breakfast and we're off to Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta, a short walk from our hotel.
First stop, Cala Salada: golden sand and clear water, perfect after nights spent dancing.
Through the pines to Cala Saladeta: a short trail leads to this small unspoilt bay with turquoise water and rustic fishermen's huts, where we spend the morning swimming and relaxing.
Lunch and the Old Town: after a casual lunch by the beach, in the afternoon we explore Ibiza’s Old Town, with its whitewashed streets and panoramic views.
One last night out? In the evening we get together for a final dinner and perhaps a night out at Ushuaïa, in true Ibiza style!

The ultimate Ibiza dive: a day of total freedom
Between beaches and final parties: let's end with a bang
Our final day in Ibiza has no fixed plans, so we're free to shape it as we wish:
One last swim? Back to a favourite beach, or off to a hidden cove we've yet to discover.
A day on a boat? Perhaps a day aboard a boat, with sun, music and glasses raised to our adventure.
Ready for the grand finale? At sunset, Ibiza's legendary nightlife calls: from beach clubs under the stars to world-famous dance floors where the party never stops.

I had a fantastic time on WeRoad's Ibiza Itinerary. It was well-organised with a fantastic coordinator in Jocelyn who ensured we packed as much into our week in Ibiza as possible. The accommodation was great and the activities selected for the trip were all fantastic. I would book again with WeRoad for certain!

I had a mixed experience on this trip. Firstly, Lucie, our guide, was great. She was such a lovely, friendly and approachable person, and I really enjoyed having her as our guide, so I genuinely can’t fault her personally. However, I do think it was unfair of WeRoad to appoint someone who had never been to Ibiza before to lead the trip. I appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere, but for the price of the trip, I would have expected the guide to have some prior knowledge of the destination. Unfortunately, the accommodation was a major disappointment. The hotel was dirty, very outdated and, in my opinion, not at the standard I would expect considering how much I paid for the trip. On top of this, the hotel charged guests extra for what I would consider basic facilities, including the safe, iron, fridge, sunbeds and even a second room key. Some of the hotel staff were also quite rude, which added to the overall negative experience. Overall, I don’t feel that the trip represented good value for money. I paid a significant amount for the experience and expected better-quality accommodation and a more polished overall experience from WeRoad. While Lucie was fantastic, the accommodation and some of the organisation fell short of what I expected from the company.
