Itinerary
Jordan is one of those bucket list destinations everyone should visit once. Why? Because Jordan simply has it all: a fascinating culture, priceless treasures, remains of ancient civilisations and a beautiful landscape.
Our group trip starts from Amman, the lively capital. Then we have fun like children in the gorges at Wadi Mujib and enjoy the beneficial water of the Dead Sea, before travelling south along the Road of the Kings, past Kerak Castle. Next comes the real treasure of this country: Petra, the lost city and one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Then it's the desert: in the immense Wadi Rum we spend a night in a tented camp, have dinner with the Bedouins and race on the sand in a 4x4. After a stop by the Red Sea to explore its underwater gems, we end back in Amman, in its vibrant souk.

Welcome to Jordan!
1 night: Amman
Check-in and first souk
Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!
Check-in at our hotel in Amman, then it's time to kick off this trip!
A wander round the local souk, where there's always something for everyone.

Wadi Mujib and the Dead Sea
1 night: Madaba
Upstream on the Wadi Mujib River
Who's ready for some adventure? After a short journey we reach one of Jordan's most scenic areas.
The Wadi Mujib River runs through a nature reserve with a majestic canyon: we trek against the current and clamber over the rocks (so let's be prepared to get wet!).
The grand finale: a dip in the impressive waterfall.
There are several routes of varying difficulty, so the group can decide together what works best.
Floating in the Dead Sea
Time to tick one off the bucket list!
The Dead Sea water is ten times saltier than the ocean, making it much more dense: sinking won't be an option.
A rejuvenating natural mud bath, on the other hand, could be!

Kerak Castle and Little Petra
1 night: Petra
A crusader stronghold
Early start today: we travel several miles towards Petra, stretching our legs at one of the many castles that dominate the picturesque scenery.
Kerak Castle is the second largest castle in the region and the most important crusader castle in the Middle East after the Syrian one. Ready to explore its fascinating history?
Little Petra
A taste of tomorrow, on a smaller scale.
The Siq al-Barid canyon, a few miles from Petra, has architecture similar to Petra's but smaller in size, hence the name Little Petra, with sculptures of ancient divinities carved from the stone.
Perfect souvenir hunting at the stalls selling handicrafts made by the locals.
Tonight, a typical dinner with some delicious local delicacies: a chance to immerse ourselves in local culinary history and traditions.

One full day exploring Petra
1 night: Petra
Splendid Petra
And here we are in Petra, a sight that will leave us breathless!
A beautiful narrow gorge leads us to the famous Treasury, a carved stone structure built to house the tomb of Areta III.
The Street of Facades, where more than 40 tombs are carved into the rocks, then up to the top of the Jebel Madbah and down to temples, tombs, a palace and a Byzantine Church, famous for its floor mosaics.
The ancient Theatre has a capacity of around 3,000. In the old Roman part of the city we admire the Great Temple, dedicated to the Nabatean divinities, the Qasr al-Bint ruins, the palace of Pharaoh's daughter and the medieval castle ruins.
Along the path to the Monastery, the biggest monument of the entire site: the Winged Lion Temple. Selfie time, we're in one of the seven wonders of the modern world!

A night in the Wadi Rum desert
1 night: Wadi Rum
In the middle of the desert
More adventure awaits... Wadi Rum, here we come!
An amazing desert surrounded by red-coloured rocks and impressive mountains. From the visitor center we head off in a four-wheel drive vehicle to explore the desert of Lawrence of Arabia.
The extraordinary Um Fruth Bridge, a suspended rock bridge in the middle of the desert, is one of the most photographed spots in the whole of Jordan.
A typical Bedouin dinner, then stargazing while sleeping in a Bedouin tent in Wadi Rum. Will we spot any shooting stars?

Relaxing by the Red Sea
1 night: Aqaba
A seaside day in Aqaba
Last stop before heading back to Amman: the seaside city of Aqaba, for a day of pure relaxation.
The Red Sea, with its crystal clear water, is ideal for snorkeling: corals, colourful fish and giant turtles.
We finish the day with a drink at sunset. Cheers!

Amman, old and new
1 night: Amman
The Old City
We leave early in the morning to reach Amman, ready to discover the hidden corners of this fascinating city!
Old Amman was built on 7 hills like Rome and still boasts Roman ruins, like the columns of the Temple of Hercules.
From a panoramic viewpoint, a bird's-eye view of the Roman Theatre, the main square with its fountain and the Odeon, an amphitheatre where live music is performed every night.
The other side of Amman
Time for the modern face of the city.
Jabal Amman is a modern district just a few minutes away from the centre.
On the way we stop at the King Abdullah Mosque, the only mosque in the city that is open to visitors.
Shopping in Amman is a must: from international designer clothes to locally produced items like precious stones and metals.
Rainbow Street
Amman's most vibrant street, and the perfect place for our last hours in Jordan!
Hopping from cafés to souvenir shops and having some fun.
A memorable finale: a cooking class where we unlock the secrets of the local cuisine.
Here's to the unforgettable moments we've shared together, cheers!
