Nashville & Great Smoky Mountains Express

Itinerary
This is the kind of trip where live music meets open roads. We start in Nashville, the beating heart of country music, where honky-tonks, rooftop bars, and neon lights set the vibe from day one. Then we hit the road and trade city energy for something wilder: the Great Smoky Mountains. Think scenic drives, misty ridge lines, waterfalls, and that feeling of being completely off-grid (but still with your crew). This is not just a nature escape — it’s a balance between music, culture, and raw landscapes, all packed into six days. You’ll go from dancing in Broadway bars to hiking through forests, from Southern comfort food to panoramic mountain views. It’s short, intense, and designed to give you the best of both worlds without wasting a second.
Expect late nights early sunrises shared drives unexpected moments and stories that stick long after the trip ends with memories worth repeating again

Welcome to Music City
1 night: Nashville
First drinks, first vibes, Broadway energy
Welcome to Nashville, aka Music City. Once everyone lands and checks in, we kick things off right away with our Welcome Meeting. Then it’s Friday night, and the city is alive. Think live music spilling out of every bar, neon lights, and that electric Southern vibe. We’ll head out together to Broadway, grab drinks, and start soaking in the atmosphere. Expect a mix of country, rock, and whatever band pulls us in. This is the night where strangers become your travel crew.

Nashville, your way
1 night: Nashville
Music, food, and that Southern lifestyle
Today is all about diving into Nashville properly. You can explore iconic spots like the Country Music Hall of Fame, check out local boutiques, or just bar-hop your way through the city’s legendary music scene. Brunch is a must (yes, biscuits and hot chicken are calling), and the rest of the day flows however you want. Rooftops, live gigs, vintage shops — Nashville is made to wander. At night, we go again. Saturday hits differently here, and you’ll feel it.

Hit the road
1 night: Gatlinburg
Roadtrip mode on, Smoky Mountains ahead
Time to switch gears. We pick up our rental car in downtown Nashville and hit the road — playlists on, snacks ready, road trip mode fully activated. The drive to the Smoky Mountains is part of the experience, with changing landscapes and that growing feeling of escape. By the time we arrive, the pace slows down. Fresh air, mountains all around, and a completely different vibe from the city. We settle in and get ready for a full nature immersion.

Into the wild
1 night: Gatlinburg
Views, trails, and mountain vibes
This is your nature day. We explore the Great Smoky Mountains with a mix of scenic drives and short hikes, chasing viewpoints, waterfalls, and those iconic smoky horizons. You don’t need to be a hardcore hiker — this is about experiencing the landscape, not racing through it. Expect moments where you just stop, breathe, and take it all in. Whether it’s a quiet trail or a panoramic overlook, this is the reset day your brain didn’t know it needed.

D5 – Back to the city
1 night: Nashville
One last ride, one last night
We head back toward Nashville, bringing the road trip full circle. It’s a relaxed drive, with time to enjoy the scenery and share the last moments on the road. Once back in the city, we return to urban life — and to our final night together. Last chance to go out, grab that drink, and celebrate the trip properly. It’s the kind of night where everything feels a bit more intense because you know it’s the last.

See you next time
Checkout and goodbye
Time to say goodbye (for now). Depending on your flight, you might squeeze in one last coffee or a quick walk around the city. Then it’s time to return the rental car in downtown Nashville and head to the airport. You came for a trip, you’re leaving with stories, inside jokes, and a group chat that probably won’t go quiet anytime soon.
