Check-in

Ready to start this trip the best way possible? We’re talking about food and drinks, obviously. Tonight we’ll have dinner and get the chance to have a first taste of the local cuisine - maybe we’ll try pad thai (the real one though!) or khao pad (fried rice that sounds delicious)? The night doesn’t end here though: it continues in Khao San, one of the best streets to enjoy Bangkok’s nightlife.

Bangkok

Bangkok, the vibrant capital of Thailand, pulsates with a fascinating blend of old and new, sacred and worldly, tranquility and frenzy. It's an absolute must-visit on any respectable trip to Thailand, and today we'll dedicate the entire day to exploring this captivating city. Time may not be on our side, but we'll make every moment count!

Just a stone's throw away from the famous Khao San Road, the ultimate party street, lies the magnificent Wat Pho. This sprawling religious complex houses the world's largest reclining Buddha statue. Nearby, we'll discover the awe-inspiring Wat Phra Kaew, known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the majestic Grand Royal Palace, once the residence of Thai rulers. And just across the Chao Phraya River, which gracefully flows through Bangkok, we'll find the enchanting Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn.

By now, our tired feet deserve a break, don't you agree? Well, you're in luck! A night bus awaits us to transport us to Chiang Mai. What better way to rejuvenate while traveling than to rest comfortably on the bus? It's the perfect opportunity to recharge for the next leg of our adventure!

Exploring the city

We start today with a guided half-day walking tour of Chiang Mai's Old Town.

We discover its most iconic landmarks like Chedi Luang Temple, Wat Pan Tao, and the Three Kings Monument. Then we leave the city behind and head up the mountain, following a more spiritual path. We stop at Wat Pha Lad, a peaceful forest temple hidden along the old monk trail, before reaching Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous temple, with its golden pagoda and breathtaking views over the city.

Chiang Mai is a hotspot for digital nomads thanks to its low cost of living, vibrant atmosphere, global networking opportunities, and lush natural surroundings. We’ll wrap up the day at the famous night market, where we’ll enjoy authentic Thai street food—tonight’s dinner sorted!

Nature and Thai cooking class

This morning is yours to explore! Wander through the bustling streets of Chiang Mai or head into the nearby hills for some adventure—think rafting, zip-lining, or trekking in Doi Inthanon National Park. Or, make a dream come true: meet elephants in the jungle and spend time learning about their lives—maybe even join them for a bath!

Whatever you choose, the afternoon has one clear mission: mastering Thai cuisine! We’ll start by shopping for ingredients at the local market, then head to our cooking class. And of course, we’ll be the lucky ones to taste our own creations—so let’s make them count!

Arriving at Sukhothai

Today, we say goodbye to the lush greenery of Chiang Mai’s forests and set off for new horizons: Sukhothai! Did you know this city was the first capital of Siam?

We explore Sukhothai in the most immersive way: by bike. Cycling through the Sukhothai Historical Park, we move at an easy pace among ancient ruins, peaceful gardens, and centuries-old temples. Along the way, we stop at highlights like Wat Si Chum and other iconic monuments within the park, discovering the stories behind Thailand’s first capital with our licensed local guide.

Backpacks on, cameras ready—let’s get moving! An unforgettable day of ancient treasures and breathtaking views awaits.

UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991

This morning, we'll rise early as we have a bus to catch that will take us to our next destination: the Ayutthaya Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, we can decide whether to explore the park on foot to wander among its historical ruins or explore by bike. We begin by seeing Wat Pra Si Sanphet, an important temple complex that once housed the Buddha covered in 250 kg of gold. Of course, we can't miss Wat Phra Mahathat either, with its iconic Buddha head nestled between the roots of a tree, undoubtedly one of Thailand's most famous images.

An empty wooden swing hangs from a tree branch over a sandy beach with turquoise water and cliffs in the distance.

Another day, another island!

This morning we'll take a nice train back to the capital, heading back to Bangkok. We can make the most of this full day in Bangkok, visiting temples and neighborhoods we haven't had time to see yet, or hunting for those souvenirs we haven't bought yet! For dinner, we'll head to a night market, Chinatown, or along the Chao Phraya River. To finish off on a high note, how about a great Muay Thai match at Rajadamnern Stadium and a drink at one of the many sky bars dotting the Bangkok skyline?!

Time for sea air!

The early bird catches the worm!! Today we have a domestic flight to the islands, and we're going to Krabi. This place boasts spectacular rock formations that create an incredibly evocative landscape: its limestone cliffs, not surprisingly, attract climbers from all over the world. We'll go climbing there too... next time, though! This time we're going to enjoy it to the fullest, and yes, if you want to take advantage of it and hang from a rock face, no problem; we'll be waiting for you on the beach :)

Famous filming locations

It's our second day in Krabi, so we want to make it unforgettable, and a boat trip to Koh Phi Phi seems like the best way to do it! Made world famous by Leonardo DiCaprio in the film The Beach, this archipelago of six islands is located 42 km from the mainland, in the middle of the Andaman Sea. We can spend the day sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling as we move from one postcard-perfect stop to the next, including Pileh Lagoon, almost completely surrounded by towering cliffs, and Maya Bay, the perfect crescent-shaped beach you'll recognize from the film. Back on dry land, we want to make sure we celebrate the day in style: how about a drink on the beach at sunset?

Relax or...

Another day of total relaxation awaits us on one of Thailand's most spectacular islands! Today we can decide what we'd like to do, perhaps a boat trip around the islands or visiting its iconic beaches where the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or snorkeling. After lunch, we can relax on the sand or treat ourselves to a famous Thai massage overlooking the sea. In the afternoon, we can relax more, or perhaps even go exploring in nature. And to round off the evening, a delicious fresh seafood dinner at sunset is a must. A stroll through the local markets, enjoying street food and live music: how much do we love this life?

Relax and adventure

Today, we have one last transfer: we'll take the ferry to Phuket. Two days of relaxation await us! These days can be either relaxing or adventurous, or a bit of both! Sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, or canoeing in the waves are our active options. One perfect combination is a tour of the Phuket peninsula, passing by Freedom Beach—a pearl nestled in greenery and azure—where we can enjoy the sea and end the day at the Big Buddha, a giant Buddha perched atop a hill. We'll reach it for sunset: from here, we'll enjoy a unique view of the entire peninsula.

And in the evening? Bars that play chill-out music at sunset while you sip a drink on the beach, and continue with one or two nightclubs that play until 2 a.m for those night owls!
