Tromsø City & Northern Lights
Let's explore!
We’ll begin our Arctic adventure exploring the charming streets of Tromsø, often called the "Paris of the North", for its lively culture and historic architecture. We’ll wander through the city center's colourful wooden buildings, making our way to the iconic Arctic Cathedral (Tromsdalen Church), whose striking triangular structure mirrors the surrounding mountain peaks.
Next, we’ll delve into Arctic history at the fascinating Polar Museum, housed in a 1830s wharf house. Here, we’ll discover compelling exhibits about polar expeditions, indigenous Sami culture, and Arctic hunting traditions.
In the evening, we’ll embark on an unforgettable Northern Lights safari by boat. We will sail into the Arctic waters away from city lights, where an expert guide will help us spot and photograph the mesmerising Northern Lights dancing across the night sky. The unique perspective from the sea offers an extraordinary way to witness this natural phenomenon!

Mountain Views, Brews & Aurora Magic
From Storsteinen peaks to lakeside lights
We’ll begin the day with a breath-taking ride on the Fjellheisen Cable Car, ascending 421 meters to the Storsteinen mountain ledge. From this spectacular view point, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Tromsø island, the surrounding fjords and the dramatic Arctic landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see.
After descending, we'll warm up with a visit to the historic Mack Brewery, proudly holding the title of world's northernmost brewery. Here, we’ll discover the unique challenges and traditions of Arctic brewing, while sampling some of their distinctive craft beers.
As evening approaches, we'll head to the serene Prestvannet Lake, a local favourite away from the city lights. This peaceful setting offers an ideal location for our second Northern Lights hunt. Surrounded by pristine nature, we'll wait for the Aurora to appear, reflecting its ethereal dance in the lake's mirror-like surface—a perfect way to end another magical Arctic day.

Winter Adventures & Arctic Relaxation
Choose your Arctic adventure
Today, the choice is yours for a wintery Arctic adventure! Perhaps we'll opt for snowshoeing through snow-covered landscapes or try cross-country skiing—a beloved Nordic tradition. Alternatively, we can immerse ourselves in indigenous culture with a Sami reindeer sledding experience or brave the Arctic waters with a uniquely thrilling Arctic floating session.
In the afternoon, we will embrace the quintessential Nordic wellness experience. Choose between the invigorating Pust sauna, where you can alternate between the warmth of the sauna and a bracing Arctic dip, or indulge in more luxurious spa experience. Each option offers its own special way to rejuvenate in Arctic style.
We’ll end the day at a magical Ice Bar, where even the glasses are made of ice! Wrapped in warm ponchos, you'll sip creative cocktails in this uniquely Arctic setting, surrounded by stunning ice sculptures and atmospheric lighting—a perfectly "cool" way to end your Tromsø adventure.
