We're setting off on an epic trip to Uzbekistan, a fascinating country dripping with history. Legendary cities take us back to the days of the Silk Road, when merchant caravans roamed these lands with precious goods and tales from afar. Every city has its own soul, and we'll uncover them all.
We kick off in Tashkent, the capital, among colorful markets packed with treasures. Next is Khiva, where every corner whispers stories of sultans, scholars and artists, then Bukhara, with its fortresses and mosques. On to Samarkand, the beating heart of the ancient Silk Road, with the iconic Registan and markets full of spices, fine fabrics and handmade ceramics. In the lively bazaars, the warmth of the locals and Uzbek hospitality make it special. We wrap up back in Tashkent after 9 days in a country still a hidden gem in the West.
