Itinerary

Ancient history, wild nature and Caribbean vibes, packed into five unforgettable days. We dive straight into the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula: one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, swims in hidden cenotes surrounded by jungle, and colorful colonial towns where time seems to slow down. Then we shift gears, from inland adventures to the vibrant energy of Playa del Carmen, and finally to laid-back Isla Mujeres, with turquoise waters and white sand.

It’s a fast-paced trip: early starts that lead to iconic sights, spontaneous swims in crystal-clear waters, sunsets by the Caribbean Sea and nights that go from chill to unforgettable. All of it shared with a group here for the same reason: to experience Mexico in the most real, fun and memorable way possible.

Arrival in Cancun

Our adventure begins in Cancún: we arrive independently and make our way to the vibrant Zona Hotelera.

  • Welcome meeting with the group: names turn into travel buddies and the adventure officially begins.

  • After check-in, time to freshen up: a first margarita by the pool, sunset views from the rooftop or a walk along the beach.

  • Dinner done properly: tacos, fresh guacamole and maybe a round (or two) of tequila, here part of the culture.

  • Cancún is famous for its nightlife: massive clubs, live shows and dance floors that never seem to end. Tonight we let the excitement build!

Ancient wonders, no filter needed

Early start today, heading inland to one of the most iconic sites in the world: Chichén Itzá, a full-on open-air history book.

  • We walk through this ancient Mayan city with a local guide, connecting the dots between astronomy, religion and politics. Pyramids built without Google Maps? Respect.

  • El Castillo, the Pyramid of Kukulkán: perfectly symmetrical and engineered with mind-blowing precision. During the equinox, the shadow of a serpent appears to slither down its steps!

  • Then a cenote surrounded by lush jungle: a traditional welcome, time to swim and relax, a buffet meal, and bikes at our disposal.

  • Afternoon in Valladolid, a colorful colonial town full of local life: once we check in, wander its streets or join an optional night bike ride through the historic center. A slower pace tonight.

A high-angle view looking down into a jungle cenote with deep blue water, as long vines hang from the rocky cliffs.

Parque ATIK, Tulum or Cobá & Playa del Carmen

After breakfast we hit the road toward the Caribbean coast. Today is all about choice!

  • A stop at Parque ATIK, a hidden gem and an immersive jungle experience: cenotes to cool off in, artistic installations tucked between the trees, space to explore at our own rhythm.

  • Something extra? A visit to Cobá, cycling through lush greenery to ancient Mayan ruins, or Tulum, one of the most scenic archaeological sites in Mexico, where history meets the sea.

  • By late afternoon, Playa del Carmen, the heart of the Riviera Maya: a relaxed dinner and a cocktail by the sea, or the famous nightlife.

Many people enjoy a sunny day at a beach with white sand and clear turquoise water, with several boats on the horizon.

Snorkeling in Puerto Morelos

Today is all about the Caribbean, starting in Puerto Morelos.

  • Guided snorkeling along part of the world’s second-largest coral reef, among tropical fish and vibrant marine life.

  • Back toward Cancún, then a ferry to Isla Mujeres: the pace slows down again on this laid-back island.

  • Free afternoon: rent a golf cart, explore hidden beaches, or relax with feet in the sand and a drink in hand.

  • Tonight we stay on the island, soaking up the Caribbean magic. Not bad, right?

Goodbye Mexico

Check-out time: bags packed, alarms ignored at least twice, and that quiet moment when it hits us that it’s already over.

  • Depending on flights, a few final hours on Isla Mujeres: one last walk along the beach, a slow breakfast, maybe a quick swim.

  • Then the ferry back towards Cancún and on to the airport. Group chat: already full of memes and “when’s the next trip?” messages.

  • We say goodbye, or better, see you soon: 5 days of shared moments, unexpected friendships and stories, plus better tan lines.
