Ive traveled to over 100 countries, all 7 continents but only 49 states! I am a cultural traveler, and have seen all 7 wonders of the modern and the only remaining ancient wonder, the pyramids! India, Egypt, and Namibia are my favorite countries, Saudi Arabia is the most interesting country Ive been too and Rome is my favorite city. Some of my favorite sites have been Petra in Jordan, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Machu Picchu in Peru, Teotihuacan outside Meixco City, Lascaux in SW France, Hobbiton, the acropolis, and Borobodur in central Java. My favorite natural places have been Antarctica's archipelago across the Drake passage, the Galapagos, the Uyuni salt flats, the Grand Tetons, Bryce Canyon, Acetenango volcano, the garden route, Etosha national park, and the Okavango delta. My favorite trip was a 3 months camping safari in Eastern and Southern Africa where I climbed Kilimanjaro, petted a domesticated cheetah, walked with rhinos, chimps, gorillas, and lion cubs, fed elephants and giraffes, got jumped by a babbon, whitewater rafted in the Zambezi, met a witch doctor, hung over Victoria Falls at the devils pool, and saw the cradle of civilization in the ngorogoro crater and olduvai gorge. My dream countries still to visit are the heart of the ancient world, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Iran, all 7 stans, as well as Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. So much to see and so many places to go!
