Yes I am from Seattle, where I grew up and went to university. But since I graduated, I’ve spent the last few years traveling, volunteering, and staying in places a little longer. I’ve volunteered in a ton of hostels in Europe, rented houses in Asia, trained Muay Thai in Thailand, surfed in Morocco and Indonesia, just did a bunch of random things to be okay at all of them--but a master of none! I love slow traveling and having time to get into everyday life somewhere. Learning a little of the local language is always part of that, even if I make plenty of mistakes along the way. I’m a big foodie, and finding good local food is usually pretty high on my travel agenda. I especially love sandwiches—I even have an Instagram account for them, so sandwich recommendations are always welcome. For me food is one of the most important parts of travel- so a day with me will include discussing food and what we want or what we loved. I also love hiking, playing sports, taking photos, and spending time outside. A day exploring followed by a good meal with good company is pretty ideal for me. I’m excited to meet you through WeRoad, try new things together, and share plenty of food and adventures along the way.
