Terms and Conditions of the “Refer a Friend” Program

This document outlines the terms and conditions (“Program Terms”) of the “Refer-a-Friend” Program (“Program”) promoted by WeRoad (“WeRoad”) identified as:

  • WeRoad Italia Srl for www.weroad.it

  • WeRoad Viajes SL for www.weroad.es

  • WeRoad France SAS for www.weroad.fr

  • WeRoad UK Ltd and WeRoad Spa for www.weroad.com

  • WeRoad Germany GmbH for www.weroad.de

To participate in the Program, users must accept these Program Terms as an integral part of the Conditions for the Use of WeRoad Services, which are hereby fully incorporated by reference (together, “WeRoad Terms”), as well as review the related Privacy Policy.

Before accepting these Program Terms, please read them carefully and review the WeRoad Terms.

1. Description of the Program

The Program is exclusively reserved for users who hold a valid MyWeRoad account and have already purchased or completed at least one trip with WeRoad (“MyWeRoad User”).

MyWeRoad Users can access the Program directly from their personal account, where a dedicated “Refer a Friend” section is available.

The Program allows a MyWeRoad User (“Referrer”) to invite a Referred Friend, as defined below, to purchase a trip with WeRoad by sending them the Referral Code. A Referred Friend is an individual who meets the eligibility requirements outlined in Article 3.

The Referred Friend may enter the Referral Code at checkout during the booking process to receive a discount.

If the Referred Friend’s booking meets the conditions set forth in Article 3, both the Referrer and the Referred Friend may benefit from a discount as described below.

2. Program Availability and Inquiries

The Program is currently available through the following WeRoad websites: weroad.it, weroad.es, weroad.de, weroad.fr and weroad.com (each a “Relevant Website”).

For any questions, complaints or concerns regarding the Program, please contact WeRoad directly via the contact section of the Relevant Website.

3. Eligible Bookings

A booking made by a Referred Friend is considered an eligible booking under the Program (“Eligible Booking”) if the Referred Friend:

  • is a new customer, who has never previously booked or traveled with WeRoad through any Relevant Website;

  • successfully completes the booking of a trip in accordance with WeRoad General terms of Purchase; and

  • does not cancel the booking before the scheduled departure date.

4. Requirements and Benefits for the Referred Friend

The Referred Friend is entitled to a one-time 10% discount (“Discount”) to be used when purchasing a WeRoad trip through a Relevant Website.

The Discount is valid only for the first booking made with WeRoad, non-transferable, not combinable with other ongoing promotions with the exclusion of discounted trips that can be identified with a strikethrough price in the Relevant website and single use only.

Each Referred Friend may use only one Referral Code. If they receive multiple referral links, only the Referrer associated with the code actually used will be eligible to receive the Reward.

Special conditions for the period from 4 May to 30 June 2026

By way of exception and solely for the period from 4 May to 30 June 2026, the Discount granted to the Referred Friend shall be 15% instead of the standard 10%. All other conditions set out in this Article 4 remain unchanged.

5. Requirements and Benefits for the Referrer

As a reward for the referral, the Referrer will receive a one-time 5% discount (“Reward”) applicable to the price of a future WeRoad trip, for each Referred Friend who makes an Eligible Booking.

Each Reward can be used once and can be combined with other Rewards generated through the Refer Friend program, up to a maximum of 50% off a single trip.

The Reward will be automatically issued after the Referred Friend has departed on a WeRoad trip and will be available in the MyWeRoad under the section “Refer-a-Friend”.

The Reward is personal, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, not combinable with any other promotions except those provided in these Program Terms.

Special conditions for the period from 4 May to 30 June 2026

By way of exception and limited to the period between 4 May and 30 June 2026, by way of derogation from the ordinary provisions, the 5% Reward due to the Referrer will be credited following the payment of the deposit by the Referred Friend, both in the case of a confirmed trip and following the confirmation of the trip. All other conditions set out in this Article 5 remain unchanged. 

6. Sharing Referral Code

Referral Code may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes and shared solely with personal contacts who are likely to appreciate receiving it.

It is strictly prohibited to:

  • publish or distribute Referral Code on commercial websites or blogs (in particular, Referral Code may not be published on coupon websites or similar websites);

  • spam and send unsolicited communications (email, SMS, bots, etc.);

  • offer or pay for placement of their Referral Code.

7. Referrer Conduct and Program Integrity

The Program is based on a relationship of mutual trust between WeRoad and its users. The Referrer is required to participate in the Program in an honest, fair and good-faith manner.

The following conduct is considered, by way of example and without limitation, improper and abusive:

  • generating false or fictitious bookings made solely for the purpose of accruing the Reward;

  • abusive use of Flexible Cancellation or other contractual tools in order to obtain undue benefits under the Program;

  • any other conduct aimed at manipulating or circumventing the Program rules in a manner contrary to its purpose.

WeRoad reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or permanently exclude from the Program any Referrer who engages in the conduct described above, following verification of the facts and, where possible, prior notification to the person concerned. Exclusion from the Program shall not give rise to any right to compensation or reimbursement in favour of the Referrer.

WeRoad also reserves the right to take appropriate legal action in cases where the Referrer’s improper conduct gives rise to contractual or non-contractual liability.

8. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Program Terms is found to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, that provision (or the part thereof that renders it invalid, void, or unenforceable) shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

9. Modification of Terms

WeRoad reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend, interrupt, or cancel the Program at any time, for any reason it deems appropriate, without any obligation to provide compensation to users.

WeRoad reserves the right to modify the content and mechanisms of the Program at any time, including, but not limited to, the use of Reward or Discount, without prior notice.

Any such changes will not affect the Rewards and Discount already issued at the time of the modification, which will remain valid and may still be used in accordance with these Terms.

WeRoad reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. In the event of any changes, WeRoad will publish the revised Terms on the Relevant Websites. Such revisions will become effective immediately upon publication. The updated Terms will apply only to future use of the Program and will be brought to users’ attention. For past uses (e.g., Rewards or Discount already issued), the previously applicable version of the Terms will remain in effect.
