Itinerary
A trip to Morocco is a journey of the senses: places here are explored not only with the eyes, but through hearing, smell, taste and touch. In 9 days we discover Morocco in all its colors and scents, from Marrakech to the ocean, across desert landscapes with ancient-looking fortresses and city markets teeming with stalls of spices and foods of all kinds.
We start in Marrakech, our first impact with Morocco: the medina, the souks and the famous Jardins Majorelle. Then we swap the chaos of the city for the quiet of Agafay, with a night in a tented camp among the dunes, around the fire and under a roof of stars. We carry on to Essaouira to enjoy the sea and try our hand at surfing. The journey ends where it began, back in Marrakech: a little sad, but with a unique trip shared.

Welcome to Morocco!
Check-in: our trip starts from Marrakech!
Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!
Check-in at the hotel in Marrakech, a mix of flavours and aromas that hits us right away.
Let's start off on the right foot and get familiar with the food here.
Here's to this adventure and all the moments we will share!

Discovering Marrakech
Souks, palaces and gardens with our guide
We have a whole day to explore, with our guide, the city that perhaps best represents Morocco. Ready to go?
We start from Jemaa el Fna Square, the nerve center of the city, home to a large open-air market, the souk: very soft fabrics, tasty dates and fragrant spices.
We can have our bodies decorated with henna or our palms read by a bizarre fortune teller.
Then on to Place des Epices, the spice square, and Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of traditional Moroccan architecture.
After a quick lunch, the iconic Jardins Majorelle: exotic plants, brightly colored structures and iconic photos. Back at the hotel, what good things will we taste tonight?

Agafay: a night in the desert
We arrive in the Sahara!
Today our road trip in Morocco officially begins: we say goodbye to Marrakech and let the warm colors of the Moroccan landscapes win us over.
We reach the Agafay desert: dunes, camels (or are they dromedaries?!), Bedouins and fires lit on the sand for when the sun disappears behind the horizon.
There's time for a quad excursion in the dunes before heading back to the tented camp that hosts us tonight.
The Bedouin dinner awaits, then the whole group gathers around the fire under the starry sky, probably one of the most beautiful we will ever see.

Essaouira: we enjoy the sea of Morocco
Finally, the sea!
We wake up in the desert: the more adventurous can get up before dawn to see the sun peek through the dunes. It's worth it!
Then we set off towards Essaouira, watching the view roll by until the Atlantic Ocean appears.
Essaouira is a port and seaside town on the ocean coast, our home for the next two days.
Plenty of time to enjoy the sea and maybe dive into the waves on a surfboard!
Walking around Essaouira
In these two days we also discover Essaouira with our guide.
The star is the Medina on the sea, a UNESCO world heritage site and an example of 18th century European military architecture in North Africa.
We explore the Medina, the fish market and some other neighborhoods near the center.
Dinner time: perhaps tonight it's the turn of harira soup, made with chickpeas and lentils?
Back to the hotel, slightly further inland than Essaouira, and not by chance: here we breathe a little peace among the Moroccan landscapes.

Let's go back to Marrakech
Goodbye ocean!
This morning we say goodbye to the sea of Essaouira and get comfortable in our minivan for the last road trip of our journey.
About 3 hours of road separate us from Marrakech: let's enjoy these last moments on Moroccan roads.
After so many days out of the city, the chaos of Marrakech will be a bit of a shock. But it's yet another face of Morocco!
In the afternoon we choose: the Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of traditional Moroccan architecture, or the crowded streets of the souk for some souvenirs.

Marrakech: a little relaxation
A bit of well-deserved relaxation
This is our last day in Morocco and Marrakech, and we use it as we see fit.
Included is the hammam experience, the typical Turkish bath that purifies the body and, apparently, the soul too. We will emerge regenerated!
Then relax at the hotel or explore Marrakech further: the decision is up to us!
Tonight our last dinner on a rooftop overlooking the medina awaits, to end our adventure in style.
