First stop? The Agafay Desert!
A morning in Marrakesh
After the magic of Marrakesh by night, it's time to explore the city in daylight. Breakfast first, then we meet our local guide.
An in-depth tour of the atmospheric old Medina, its narrow streets and vibrant souks, diving into the culture and history of Marrakesh.
A stroll through the ancient kasbah, admiring the intricate Moroccan architecture of the palaces and mosques.
A break with an ice-cold fresh fruit juice, then more of the city: a great way to get an authentic sense of Marrakesh!
The rock dunes of Agafay
In the afternoon we bid farewell to Marrakesh and head to the Agafay Desert.
On the way we pass traditional Berber villages, with the option to stop for green tea and views of the Atlas Mountains in the distance.
The mesmerizing rock dunes of Agafay are the backdrop for our desert camp: we relax in the peaceful solitude or take a camel ride.
We find the perfect spot to watch the sunset, then gather around the campfire for a traditional Berber dinner under a sky full of stars.
Bedtime in a Bedouin tent: tomorrow we wake up in the heart of the desert!

From the desert to the ocean
The road to Essaouira
Who's up for a desert sunrise at Agafay? We wake up early to watch a new day dawn over the spectacular rock dunes.
After breakfast, before the heat of the desert intensifies, we hit the road towards the cooler Atlantic coast.
Sit back, relax and take in the changing Moroccan landscape from the window as we prepare for the next leg.
Morocco by the sea
We finally reach Essaouira: on a vast, sweeping bay on Morocco's southwestern coast, against a backdrop of lush wooded hills, it's the seaside town we've been looking for.
A bustling marina, quaint white and blue houses and a souk-filled medina keep us busy.
We walk the city walls that separate the medina from the Atlantic, or head to the beach to relax, try windsurfing or horse riding.
Sunset is not to be missed, as the fishing boats meet the golden sky!

Essaouira and Marrakesh
A morning in Essaouira's Medina
Our final morning in Essaouira: time to relax or take one last stroll through the Medina, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Its unique mix of Moroccan and European architectural styles makes it a must-see, with something new in every narrow alleyway of whitewashed buildings.
Moulay Hassan Square sits at its heart: let's grab a seat at a café and watch the world go by!
Time to return to Marrakesh
As the tour comes to a close, we head back to vibrant Marrakesh. Bags dropped, there's more of this captivating city to discover.
Hunt for bargains in the souks, marvel at the stunning architecture of the Bahia Palace or visit the picturesque Jardin Majorelle, known for its rich blue walls and beautiful cacti.
As day turns to night, a refreshing mint tea on a café terrace around the main square, watching the sunset.
Dinner with the group to remember the sweet adventure we've shared, then one last stroll through the bustling streets of Marrakesh before bidding farewell to this magical city.
