How does WeRoad work?
Choose your trip based on departure dates, destinations, and travel mood, and... book it! Once you get the email confirming your trip, book your round-trip flights to the destination – nope, they're not included in the package, we like flexibility! 15 days before departure, the Group Leader will create a WhatsApp group so you can start getting to know your future travel buddies. You're all set: enjoy your WeRoad trip! You'll share incredible experiences, discover local culture, and live every minute to the fullest – you'll probably shed a tear or two when it's time to say goodbye, but that's totally normal! Is the flight included?
Flights are not included, we love flexibility! This way you have the total freedom to choose which airport to depart from, which airline to fly with, how many stops to make, and, if you wish, to stay a few extra days at your destination. Obviously, we can help you choose them (here for flight purchase support) and what’s more, we have many discounts you can use with some of the major airlines.
Are there any age limits?
Yep, we have age limits. We organise groups split into different age groups. It won't be hard to find the perfect WeRoad for you!
Why are the Canary Islands on no travel list?
They aren't. The Canary Islands are part of Spain and one of Europe's most established holiday destinations. As with any trip, check your government's latest travel advisory before you book.
Is Canary Island expensive to visit?
It's one of Europe's more affordable sunny getaways. Our Gran Canaria Express, for example, starts from $694 for 5 days with accommodation, a catamaran excursion, car rental and a Group Leader included.
What is the best time to visit the Canary Islands?
The weather is mild all year, so there's no bad season. Summer is best for the beach, while spring, autumn and winter suit hiking, surfing and sightseeing. The south of the islands is usually sunnier than the north.
Can you fly direct from the USA to the Canary Islands?
Direct flights from the US are limited, so most travelers connect through a European hub such as Madrid or Lisbon. Check airlines for current routes and add flights on top of your trip, as they're not included.
Are the Canary Islands safe?
Yes, the Canary Islands are a well-established, popular destination for travelers from all over the world. Usual travel precautions apply, and your Group Leader is there for local tips throughout the trip.
