Lives in Rome

Hey everyone! I’m Lika, and if you’re wondering “wait… what kind of name is that?”, you’re definitely not the first. I’m half Ukrainian, half Georgian, born in Russia, raised in Ukraine, then in a small town near Ravenna, before eventually making my way to Rome, in Italy. Safe to say, multiculturalism runs through my veins. Maybe that’s why I love travelling so much… who knows?
I’ve always had a passion for a life on the move, and over the years I’ve explored a big part of Europe, Southeast Asia, and a few countries across Latin America. There are still so many places on my list, and I’d love to discover them together!
The thing my friends say about me most often is that I could make friends even with rocks. Not surprisingly, my personal motto is good vibes only. One thing’s for sure: when I travel, I’m the happiest version of myself, and I honestly can’t wait to bring you into my world.
I’m all about road trips, spontaneous adventures, and experiences that connect you with local cultures and people, because that’s what adds that extra bit of magic to a journey. For years I travelled solo, backpacking, staying in hostels, and couchsurfing at strangers’ homes. Through that, I discovered just how beautiful human connection can be.
Because if you think about it, isn’t that kind of what life is all about? A group of strangers by the sea or on top of a mountain, sharing stories, laughs, struggles, and memories as if they’d known each other forever.
